– Demo takes place in a sewer level
– Green rivers and rafts can be found here
– There are puzzles, such as one in which you need to pull levels to guide a ball of energy from several stations to its ice-melting goal
– Another puzzle: fling a little ball of goo around a 2D box, drenching the poor soul in water at one point to extinguish flames
– Wolfgang: Undead type
– Wolfgang is a villain that can be trapped
– In this game, players can choose to trap bosses and some other villains
– They’ll be stored in physical toys based on their element type
– Wolfgang is a werewolf who happens to be really into music
– He wields a harp/guitar hybrid made from bone, and he can use it to fire off music-note projectiles
– Wolfgang can also charge into groups of enemies with a rock-appropriate stage slide, where he takes out foes while skidding on his knees
– Broccoli Guy complains about his name while battling enemies
– As a Life-based character, he can create a healing aura
– It persists even when players swap between their regular Skylander and their trapped companion

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric details
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
– 4 stages in the E3 demo
– 2 were adventure-like
– Third was a boss battle against Robotnik
– Last one was a more traditional action stage
– Single-player demo
– Switch between Sonic and his friends with the d-pad
– Adventure stages feature puzzle-solving, exploration, brawling, and slower-paced platforming
– Levels include kill rooms, puzzles/exploration, and platforming
– Puzzle/exploration involves levers to pull or switches to push
– The game re-spawns the player close to where you fall without losing much progress
– Only lose a little damage when this happens
– One adventure stage is set in an underwater facility
– This includes secret rooms, and Amy’s 2.5-D platforming segments
– Combat devolves into pushing Y for standard melee attacks
– Special move with X
– Special move depends on the character
– All characters have the energy beam
– Need to use the energy beam in a mini-boss battle and Eggman boss stage to throw smaller baddies at the boss
– Last stage was like a traditional Sonic action stage
– Sonic and his three friends run much faster through rollercoaster ramps and loop
– Some areas have you doing “lane shifting” via the L and R buttons
– Characters play similarly with subtle differences
– Ex: Knuckle is stronger, Amy has a triple jump as opposed to a double jump
– None of the characters are fast
– Knuckles cannot glide, and Tails cannot fly
– Tails can use his tail to fall more slowly

Alright, I know what you’re thinking: this is obvious news. But yes, there are more unannounced characters planned for the new Super Smash Bros. games. The folks hosting the Treehouse stream mentioned this, though they obviously didn’t elaborate further. I’m still waiting for a Captain Falcon confirmation, personally!
Bayonetta 2 includes online co-op

A Bayonetta 2 fact sheet from Nintendo provides a little insight into the game’s two-player online co-op feature known as “Tag Climax”. Check it out below:
In online quick matches, you can wager halos, the in-game currency that you
earn by defeating enemies. You receive a large sum back if you can prove
you’re a better fighter than your partner. Halos can then be traded in a story
mode shop to unlock new techniques, buy accessories and pick up alternate
weapon variations.
