Takaya Imamura had a legendry career at Nintendo where he spent over thirty years at the company, working on franchises like F-Zero and Star Fox.
In a recent interview with Famitsu, Imamura shared some insight into the inspiration for F-Zero. Along with the second Back to the Future movie, it also looks like the team was influenced by Tim Burton’s Batman. He went as far as to say that director Kazunobu Shimizu wanted to emulate the Batmobile.

Publisher Plow Games and developer Bringle Family Entertainment have announced The Legend of Santa for Switch, and it’s arriving very soon. It’ll be available on October 28, 2024.

The new Switch game takes more than a few cues from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom – and cooking is one of them. Though you can’t craft fancy meals with tons of ingredients, you can put two ingredients together to make smoothies with a variety of effects. There is a grand total of 69 Echoes of Wisdom smoothies, and making all of them is required for 100 percent completion. Not to mention, they’re just helpful to have on hand in general – you can use them during both normal boss battles and some of the Slumber Dojo missions, making smoothies essential.
The 7 Star Infernape Tera Raid Battle event for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is live now. It continues from now until October 6, and then comes back for a second run from October 11 to October 13. This superboss is running Tera Rock, which gives Infernape extra coverage in addition to its normal Fire and Fighting-type attacks. There’s a bit of news regarding the previously-announced Zelda figma for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, including the release date and pre-orders. We have a handful of new photos as well.
The new figma comes with a standard face, closed-eyes face, and serious face. Optional parts include the Purah Pad, broken Master Sword, and more for different poses. It measures approximately 155mm in height.
