A Bravely Default sequel has been mentioned once again. Producer Tomoya Asano hinted at a follow-up several times in the past, and was actually taking feedback from fans at one point for a future Bravely Default game.
The latest comes from Yasumi Matsuno, who once worked on Tactics Ogre. Matsuno mentioned on Twitter that he was meeting with Bravely Default illustrator Akihiko Yoshida for drinks, and later said that Yoshida wouldn’t be discussing Final Fantasy XIV. After he was pressed further, Matsuno tweeted that Yoshida is at work on the next Bravely Default project.
Nintendo has commented on the gossip surrounding the recall of Wii U Basic Sets. An official statement states that the company is doing nothing more than “rebalancing stock” of the Wii U Basic and Premium Sets. Those who are interested in the console option “will continue to find them available.”

News surfaced last night that GameStop stores will need to return all Basic Set consoles on June 18. Nintendo’s statement suggests that there isn’t much to the recall, however.
The next entry in Level-5’s Guild02 series is due out in North America next week. According to an official listing on Nintendo’s website, Bugs vs. Tanks! will be available on June 13.

Next Tuesday, Square Enix will be holding something called “The Future of Final Fantasy” at E3 2013. The event will include a “special Q&A session” with Final Fantasy brand director Shinji Hashimoto.
The Future of Final Fantasy runs between 9 AM and 10 AM PT. This just so happens to be the same time as Nintendo’s press event.
All eShop demos come with a limit. For instance, you can only boot up the Project X Demo five times.
Who puts these limits in place? Nintendo won’t say, but an unnamed third-party publisher told Game Informer that the Big N initiates the requirement.
When it comes to official demo information from Nintendo, the only statement shared is as follows: “We don’t discuss our internal business practices.”
Not going to E3 2013 this year? No worries! Twitch has you covered.
A ton of games will be demonstrated through live-stream broadcasts during each day of the show. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are filled with tons of demos, including Watch_Dogs, Batman: Arkham Origins, DuckTales Remastered, Rayman Legends, and Scribblenauts Unmasked.

Square Enix has filed a trademark in Europe for something called “Deadman’s Cross”. A corresponding domain name was registered back in April.
To be clear, Deadman’s Cross is coming from Square Enix’s main division – subsidiary Eidos does not appear to be involved.
What Deadman’s Cross actually is remains a mystery for now…
