Riot Forge has announced that three pieces of DLC have just been made available for Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story, known as BOOMBOX.
The rhythm title’s latest content lets players experience some iconic tracks from the past decade with the release of the BOOMBOX DLC packs. Ziggs can explode to the beat of many notable music moments from League of Legends history, while dressed appropriately with a special themed skin included with each set.

Jackbox Games has set a release date for The Jackbox Party Starter. The collection, which features three classic fan-favorite titles, will be available for Switch on June 30, 2022.
The Jackbox Party Starter contains Trivia Murder Party 2, Quiplash 3, and Tee K.O. It can be played in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish with full voiceover and subtitle localization.
Sonic Frontiers director Morio Kishimoto has revealed that the game has taken inspiration from the Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
Kishimoto spoke about this in a new interview with IGN. He admitted that combat was never really a focus in the series until now, “but the movie showed us an entirely new approach.” The film’s take on Sonic “became a huge inspiration for Sonic Frontiers’ development,” he said.
A fresh set of details have emerged about Kid Kirby, a game that was once planned for the SNES.
DMA Design, the studio that went on to become Rockstar North and a primary developer of the Grand Theft Auto series, was put in charge of the project. It would have featured the SNES Mouse add-on with players using the device to launch Kirby through levels. Unfortunately, Nintendo ended up scrapping the project after development failed to properly progress, and the SNES Mouse was far from a sales success.
The Galactic Junkers now has a release date, and the game is just a couple of weeks away. Publisher Green Man Gaming Publishing and developer Evil Twin Artworks have confirmed that the comedic action-adventure space combat title will be available for Switch on June 30, 2022.
The Galactic Junkers was only just revealed for Switch last month. It was given a general 2022 release window at the time.

Another baseball title is on the way to Switch, as publisher GameMill Entertainment and developer IguanaBee today unveiled Little League World Series Baseball 2022. It’ll be available this August – a specific date will be shared soon.

Publisher NIS America and developer Acquire have determined a western release date for Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief, the remastered version of the PlayStation 2 stealth action title that’s seeing its first English release. In North America, it’ll be out on October 11, 2022. The European launch will follow on October 14.

According to the latest NPD report, Switch led all hardware platforms in both units and dollars in the United States last month. Additionally, the system is the market-leading platform in hardware units sold year to date. Xbox Series saw the highest dollar sales in the period.
Not only is Nintendo still experiencing strong hardware sales with Switch, but high software sales as well. In the latest sales chart, Nintendo Switch Sports was the third best-selling title in May. A number of Switch games were also sprinkled throughout the top 20, including Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Mario Kart 8, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and more.
