ESCHATOS will debut on Switch in the west next week, an eShop listing reveals. A release is planned for January 13 in North America and Europe.

Originally, the game released on the Xbox 360 in 2011 as a Japanese title. It then received a worldwide release on PC in 2015. Japan received the Switch version back in November.

Nova-111 will be appearing on Switch in just a few days, but we do have some early gameplay ahead of next week’s launch. A half hour of footage has come in.

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for December 2021.

After coming in second last month, Mario Party Superstars climbs to the #1 spot. Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain, a new release for December, manages to end up in the top five.

A new update for Embr has gone live on Switch, adding a brand new Secret Hosr multiplayer mode. It allows four Respondrs to go on even longer missions with more clients, and dangerous explosives ticking down to destruction in need of disposal.

New to this mode is that players will be working against one of their teammates for the first time. A Hosr Agent has infiltrated the mission, and you’ll have to keep your clients safe, the building secure, and the bombs defused. Players can report to vote the agent out if they believe they know who’s the saboteur.

Ninjala already have a five-episode anime that largely ran in 2020, but GungHo is revisiting the concept with a new series that will be starting soon. Fans can watch the first episode starting next week.

It’s been confirmed that the upcoming series will feature all of the main characters. Burton, Berecca, Ron, Van, Emma, Jane, Kappei, and Lucy – along with Gumchi – will be appearing.

Bandai Namco has kicked off a new 2022 New Year Sale on the Switch eShop, and there are some notable deals. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Ni no Kuni II have received some of their first discounts. Additionally, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy have reached new lows.

Publisher PID Games and developer WhileOne Productions announced this week that Guild of Ascension, a tactical RPG with rogue-lite elements, is making its way to Switch. The game is lined up for a January 19 launch.

Guild of Ascension is set in a medieval fantasy universe in which two heroes venture to reconquer a world where magic is gone. The two will need to journey through hostile lands and reach the top of the tower. At the top, the goddess responsible for the chaos lies.

You may have heard of a little game called Frogsong. Last summer, Brandon Braun managed to fund the project through Kickstarter. The campaign ended with nearly CA$ 30,000 raised, and also confirmed plans to support Switch.

The official tagline for Frogsong is that it’s “a heartfelt adventure game where it’s okay to be small.” The game, which makes of hand-drawn 2D animation, will have you exploring the world of Salia, fighting monsters, meeting a variety of characters and villages, upgrading your blade at the blacksmith, and more.

Cotton Fantasy came to Japan as Cotton Rock ‘n’ Roll last month, and those that are interested in the title can take a look at some new gameplay.
