Update: EA has since announced Lost in Random and FIFA 21 Legacy Edition for Switch. Presumably these were two of the titles being referred to.


EA has announced that it has seven titles in store for Switch over the next year. These include Burnout Paradise Remastered and Apex Legends, which was just announced for a fall release.

Other titles have not been confirmed at this time.

Following recent speculation regarding a Switch version of Apex Legends, the news was made official during today’s EA Play 2020 presentation. It will launch this fall.

Details about the Switch version will be shared at a later date. However, it should support cross-play with all other versions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location ended up receiving a surprise release on Switch today, and now some new footage has emerged. Check out the gameplay below.

Niantic is continuing to explore ways to adapt Pokemon GO’s gameplay to invididual settings. As part of that, two new features have introduced: daily guaranteed Pokemon encounters and daily free boxes.

Infini footage

As reported earlier today, the puzzle-adventure game Infini is hitting Switch on July 3. Find some early footage in the video below.

Infini will be distributed digitally on Switch via the eShop.

The Strong National Museum of Play today announced the final lineup for its 2020 inductees. Bejeweled, Centipede, King’s Quest, and Minecraft have all been selected.

Back in March, the original twelve nominees were announced. Frogger, Goldeneye 007, Guitar Hero, NBA Jam, Nokia Snake, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Where in the World is Carmen San Diego were ultimately not chosen.

The main highlight of New Game+ Expo will be the presentation taking place on June 23 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. However, after the primary broadcast ends, it will be followed by several hours of streaming featuring titles from Inti Creates, SEGA / Atlus, GungHo, NIS America, WayForward, SNK, and more.

There’s been a well-documented battle taking place between Billy Mitchell and Twin Galaxies. Mitchell, who was thought to have recorded high scores in Donkey Kong and Pac-Man, had his numbers scrubbed after he was accused of using an emulator. Most recently, Mitchell filed a lawsuit against Twin Galaxy for his removed scores.

Mitchell scored a win today, as Guinness World Records has announced that his scores have been reinstated. The full statement can be found below. 

Organizers behind Summer Game Fest have announced the lineup of games that will be featured as part of a Developer Showcase on June 22. Some Switch-related titles are included such as Sea of Stars and Panzer Paladin.
