Fortnite has received its biggest update in quite some time, as version 10.0.0 is out now. Alongside that, Season X has officially started.

Dangen Entertainment has shared a new trailer for Minoria, which launches on Steam this month and will release on Switch in the future. Check it out below.
Marvelous revealed today several titles they’ll be publishing in Europe over the next couple of months. We knew that most of these would be coming West in some form, but we now have concrete details and an official confirmation. The games in question are Rune Factory 4 Special, BurgerTime Party!, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, and Heroland. The full press release from Marvelous is below, which also includes some new trailers:
Rune Factory 4 Special (Nintendo Switch – RPG Simulation)
Experience the world-famous fantasy farming adventure like never before, with gorgeous HD graphics in fully remastered form.
The joys of growing crops, catching fish, and raising monsters await players old and new, while seasoned explorers will be delighted to discover an updated opening movie. Other farm-fresh features include Newlywed mode, which introduces special episodes about living a married life and new in-game cutscenes.
Additionally, the game features an even higher difficulty mode for expert players to take on a challenge that’s truly worthy of their skills.
Developed by Marvelous Inc and published in Europe by Marvelous Europe Limited, Rune Factory 4 Special is in development for release this Winter for Nintendo Switch.
A new patch is available for Cadence of Hyrule now, which brings the game up to version 1.0.2. The following changes are included in this update:
- two-player leaderbord
- rhythm vibration option
- colorblind assist option
- the option to view the game’s credits from the title screen
- balance adjustments
- various bug fixes
The latest Voting Gauntlet is now live in Fire Emblem Heroes. Beach Ballot Battle pits characters with beach outfits against each other. The first-round matchups are as follows:
- Laegjarn: Burning Sun vs Lyn: Lady of the Beach
- Laevatein: Bonfire’s Blaze vs Wolt: Sunbeam Archer
- Helbindi: Seaside Scourge vs Lilina: Beachside Bloom
- Gunnthrá: Beaming Smile vs Ursula: Clear-Blue Crow
The Voting Gauntlet will run until August 7.
Also, since it’s Thursday, Tactics Drills has been updated. Two maps have been added: clearing “The Beginning” in Skill Studies gets you 300 feathers; clearing “A Knight’s Mercy” in the Grandmaster section gets you one orb.
Two days ago, Nintendo announced that they would be offering a free trial version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Japan. Today, Nintendo of Europe revealed a similar offer for their territory, albeit with a different game. If you have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription, you can download and play Mario Tennis Aces for free from August 7 till August 13. Starting on August 7 till August 20, the game will also be on sale on the eShop for 30% off. If you decide to buy the game, you can carry over your progress from the trial version.
Also, Nintendo is officially calling this program Game Trials. It remains to be seen what game, if any, they will offer in North America as part of this program.
Komi Games has announced that they are bringing the multiplayer arena fighting game Mighty Fight Federation to Switch.
The game is planned to launch sometime in Q2 of 2020. A description of the game, as well as screenshots and a trailer, can be viewed below.
A new update is now available for God Eater 3, bringing the game up to Version 1.45.
The main aspect of this update is that it adds “EX Time Attack Missions”. More details can be found in the official patch notes below.
Square Enix has confirmed that they will be holding a live stream on August 8th that will cover the last free update for Dragon Quest Builders 2.
The broadcast will go live at 21:00 JST. It will feature game producers Noriyoshi Fujimoto and Takuma Shiraishi.
