Croteam has long been known for its work on the Serious Sam franchise, including the upcoming Serious Sam 4. The developer also has another hits on its hands with the 2014 first-person puzzler The Talos Principle. Both of these IPs could very well be finding their way to Switch in the future.

The first bit of news comes from Croteam CTO Alen Ladavac and marketing manager Daniel Lucic. In an interview with Wccftech, the two revealed that its new engine for Serious Sam is being ported to Switch. On top of that, Lucic revealed that The Talos Principle is “likely” for Nintendo’s system.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are back again with another character introduction for Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Today’s update is for Jeralt, who is voiced by Akio Ootsuka in the Japanese version.

Jeralt play the role of the protagonist’s father, but is also a veteran knight. He previously served as the head knight for the Church of Seiros, and was considered to be the strongest knight ever. He ended up leaving his position and became a mercenary. Sadly, his wife has already passed away. Jeralt returns to the Knights of Seiros towards the start of Fire Emblem: Three Houses after students are saved from the Officer’s Academy.

Just a couple of weeks ago, WayForward and Arc System Works announced a new partnership on the creation of River City Girls. Details are mostly nonexistent at this time, including platforms. However, it now appears that a Switch version is almost confirmed, as it’s now been rated for the console in Korea.

In last month’s issue of Nintendo Dream, the Japanese magazine published an interview all about the Rune Factory series. The main focus was Rune Factory 4 Special and topics like bringing back the game for Switch, but there was also some brief Rune Factory 5 talk.

Limited Run Games has announced its next release. Aegis Defenders, the action-platformer and tower defense strategy hybrid that launched the eShop last year, will be getting the physical treatment.

Reservations for Aegis Defenders open on May 10 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. There will be a two-week timed pre-order.

A pamphlet offered to fans at Vanguard & Buddyfight Ultra Big Card Fes 2019 has revealed a release date for Cardfight!! Vanguard EX. It’ll release for Switch in Japan on September 19, with pricing set at 6,980 yen. Physical copies will include a special version of the “Exculpate the Blaster” card.
