New information about Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes has emerged from director Suda51’s appearance during a Famitsu live stream this week. Specifically, we have an update on the Bubblegum Fatale DLC.
Bubblegum Fatale DLC launches April 18. It will be accompanied by version 1.2.0, featuring t-shirts from Zelda: The Wind Waker (two of them), Siren, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arise, and Fire Pro Wrestling. One of these Zelda shirts lets you perform a spin attack similar to Link’s during the final part of a combo.
PlayFusion has provided information on a major update in the works for Lightseekers. New Switch-specific functionality is planned along with more content.
First, the team is planning full Joy-Con support for the card game. Also planned is a new single-player mode, new cards, and more.
Tales of the Neon Sea is coming to Switch, developer Palm Pioneer and publisher Zodiac Interactive have confirmed. A release is planned for later this year.
Tales of the Neon Sea is a retro-styled adventure game in which “humans and robots contend with escalating tensions and mutual distrust.” Find an official overview plus a gameplay video below.
Digital Extremes has announced that Warscape has added “Plains of Eidolon Remaster” on Switch today. It promises revamped graphics using the graphics technology created for Fortuna, featuring “dynamic lighting, textures and atmosphere, resurfaced terrain for better K-Drive Hoverboard action, and introduces conservation and a new Grineer menace, the wily Tusk Thumpers.”

Rocket League’s “Esports Shop” update is now available on Switch. Psyonix is offering customization items, a Replay FX feature, and more.
Note that Psyonix labels the update as version 1.61. However, it will show on your Switch system as 1.1.8.

Mojang has announced that a movie based on Minecraft will premiere on March 4, 2022. Warner Bros. will be involved, and Peter Sollett has been confirmed as director.
Mojang says that the film follows “the story of a teenage girl and her unlikely group of adventurers. After the malevolent Ender Dragon sets out on a path of destruction, they must save their beautiful, blocky Overworld.”
Natsume today announced the creation of its Natsume Indie Program, an initiative in which it will partner with independent developers around the world “to introduce creative, innovative games to a wider audience.” The first project will be Cosmic Defenders, an upcoming Switch title from developer Fiery Squirrel.
Cosmic Defenders, a 2D fast-paced revolving shooter, is “about a group of unconventional heroes using the power of nature to stop chaotic aliens from taking over the universe.” You’ll cooperate with other guardians to protect the galaxy from the wicked and restore peace.

Gamescom is partnering with The Game Awards executive producers Geoff Keighley and Kimmie H. Kim on a new show for the expo.
Revealed today, Gamescom: Opening Night Live announced will be held on August 19. It will produced in English and will air live in front of more than 1,000 fans in Cologne, Germany. Today’s press release states that there are plans to feature “announcements from major game publishers and independent developers, world premieres of new game footage and special guest appearances from the stars of the gaming industry.”
WiSTONE Entertainment has announced that its zombie survival game Dawn of Survivors will be available on Switch this week. A release is planned for April 18.
