Artax Games has announced that a new version of Iro Hero is bound for Switch. The team currently intends to launch the game in Q1 2018.

Iro Hero is an old school shmup with a pixel-inspired look. It features nine levels “full of enemies, action and interactive elements that takes Ikaruga’s color change mechanic to a new level with an interesting twist to puzzles.”

We have a previously-released trailer for Iro Hero attached below.

Batman: The Telltale Series makes its debut on Switch today. Have a look at the video below for some of the first gameplay footage.

Three different BoxBoy! games were created for 3DS. While some thought that the series could end with the third entry, HAL Laboratory hasn’t ruled out a return to the series.

So it’s interesting then that what could be a new tease for the game surfaced today. In a new BoxBoy! video posted on the official Japanese YouTube channel, what’s pictured above was shown at the very end. It might be a sign of things to come.

HAL’s Yasuhiro Mukae was asked about the possibility of BoxBoy! appearing on Switch earlier this year. He noted how multiplayer could work well on the console, but stopped short of actually confirming a new entry for the system. Perhaps a fourth game could be in the works for Switch?

Nintendo has updated its schedule with two new periods of downtime.

First, ARMS will be undergoing maintenance later tonight. Nintendo will be delivering a new update, so this should pave way for its availability. Switch in general will also be seeing maintenance tomorrow.

Here’s the full maintenance schedule:

A couple of years ago, Nintendo held a Nindies@Home initiative during E3 2015. The event allowed Wii U owners to download demos of indie games featured at E3. Then when each title launched, those who downloaded the different demos would receive a 15% discount at launch.

Rive was one of the games included in Nindies@Home. But as we know, it ended up being cancelled for Wii U. We’re now getting it on Switch instead. However, Two Tribes is still holding true to its original promise.

Rive: Ultimate Edition will initially be sold for 15% off for all Switch owners starting this Friday. The discount will be offered for the first two weeks after launch.
