During today’s Gamescom: Opening Night Live presentation, Floatopia was revealed for multiple platforms, including Switch. It’s set to arrive in 2025.

Floatopia, coming from NetEase Games, is a life sim. Players can travel among super-powered worlds to craft their island and engage with friends.

May 31: Little Nightmares III has been delayed, and will not be making it out this year as originally planned. Bandai Namco now intends to publish the title in 2025.

Little Nightmares III was first unveiled at Gamescom last August. It’s a notable shift for the series as the first two titles were made by Tarsier Studios. This one is being handled by Until Dawn developer and The Dark Pictures Anthology Supermassive Games.

Following its announcement in June, we now have a release date and proper look at Civilization VII with a fresh gameplay trailer. The video just debuted at Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2024.

Civilization VII now has a release date of February 11, 2025. The game will come in the form of a standard version and Deluxe Edition – if you opt for the latter, you’ll be able to play five days earlier on February 6.

At Gamescom 2024 today, publisher Amazon Games and developer Glowmade announced King of Meat. The title does not currently have a release window, but will be made available on Switch.

King of Meat is an online co-op spectacle that supports up to four players. The game features hacking, slashing, and combat elements with a Dungeon Create Mode.

Dave the Diver just revealed its latest round of collaborations, which include Potion Craft, Balatro, and mxmtoon. The full set is slated for October.

Potion Craft and Balatro are games that previously shipped on Switch. mxmtoon is a singer-songwriter that’s also on YouTube.

We’ve got a heads up for Soundfall players, as a big update dropped on Switch today featuring Arena Mode and more.

Arena Mode is an intense, single-room horde-style battle. This is similar to the final mission of each region in Story Mode, but now available as an option when playing any track from the Free Play menu.

Red Art Games is giving Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged a physical release on Switch, the company announced today. Boxed versions are slated for early 2025.

Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged, which was just confirmed for Switch a few days ago, will receive both ESRB and PEGI-rated physical versions. Fans can pick it up either standalone (sold by multiple retailers), as part of a Deluxe Edition, or a Special Edition.

Nintendo today confirmed that it will be attending PAX West 2024 with a lineup of games.

From the company itself, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition will be playable. Star Wars: Hunters will also be at the company’s booth.
