VVVVVV was taken down from the 3DS eShop back in May. Unfortunately, due to a homebrew exploit, it was removed.

But just like Citizens of Earth and SmileBASIC, VVVVVV is now back on the eShop. Better yet, the game is on sale. You can purchase VVVVVV for just $4.75, down from the original $7.99 asking price.

According to the NPD Group, spending on gaming-related accessories – including toys-to-life figures – is experiencing a five percent dip year-over-year. That amount came in at $117.1 million last month in the United States. While sales of amiibo and Skylanders have fallen, LEGO Dimensions is up, as is Disney Infinity.

NPD analyst Sam Naji says there was “a 34 percentage point shift in dollar share” from Skylanders and amiibo to Disney Infinity and LEGO Dimensions. “Although total spend for interactive gaming toys declined by 3 percent compared to last year, consumers spent an additional 55 percent on Disney Infinity accessories and $3 million on Lego Dimensions, which launched in September 2015,” Naji said.

Disney Infinity’s bump can almost certainly be distributed to retailer discounts on toys following the cancellation of the series. With amiibo, new releases have slowed, though things may pick up when the new Mario line launches in November.

Bloomberg and Axiom Capital Management have provided an extended look at various Pokemon GO stats through the middle of the month. Based on data from Sensor Tower, SurveyMonkey, and Apptopia, the game’s daily active users, downloads, engagement, and time spent daily are all off their peaks and on a downward trend.

With Pokemon GO’s incredibly hot start, I think it should have been expected that it wouldn’t maintain its initial levels – especially now that the app has launched in many major countries. We’ll likely see it stabilize at a certain point, and it’ll continue to do well so long as it receives proper support.

Ezekiel Rage and Nitrolic Games are putting the finishing touches on Rorrim, an upcoming indie game for the Wii U eShop.

Here’s an overview:

“Rorrim is a 2D game for the Nintendo Wii U eShop. After finding a magic mirror, a young princess is sucked into the glass of the mirror and finds herself inside a dark and eerie dungeon. To escape the world of the mirror, you have to help her navigate through the dungeon in the real world and in the mirrored world. Enjoy this puzzle maze game by using the Wii U GamePad.”

Rorrim arrives on the eShop sometime next month. Watch a trailer below.

Capcom has prepared a second video focusing on the voice cast of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice. Find a video for Apollo below, who is voiced by Orion Acaba.

In a recent interview with Nintendon.com, Shin’en Multimedia confirmed that their next project will be with Nintendo. Shin’en Multimedia, creators of FAST Racing Neo, recently confirmed that while their next project is a secret, it will be on a Nintendo console.

The studio was asked what it would like to do after FAST Racing Neo. In response, Shin’en said:

The problem is I can’t talk about it. I’d really like to talk about it, but if I say anything…. let me put it this way: we’re very happy to work with Nintendo, we’ll keep doing it and our next project will be with them. We’re also carrying out new experiments and creating new prototypes, but I can’t talk about this either, because they’re so deep in their initial stage that there would be no point talking about it now.
