I’ve said in prior publications that the concept of time travel is a fascinating yet very sensitive one, as the topic tends to lend itself to narratives that ultimately have no idea how to go about ending a topic that can take myriad of forms and paths, leaving a story open-ended and potentially with too many plot holes because of a traditionally endless structure. Even with limitless routes comes limitations, however, Loop8: Summer of Gods, despite all its positives, is yet another victim of a time loop sci-fi snafu that has its heart in the right place, but any potential excellence in a different timeline.

THQ Nordic and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) today shared the latest trailer for AEW: Fight Forever that shows off the Tag Team mode. This comes ahead of the official release later this month.

Here’s a brief overview:

Super Rare Games is teaming up with Amanita Design on a new Switch physical release bringing fans a two-games-on-one-cartridge bundle, with Happy Game and Pilgrims getting a physical release on the platform for the first time.

The Happy Game and Pilgrims 2-in-1 Switch physical release includes the game on a physical cartridge, a reversible cover, a full-color manual, an exclusive sticker, and two sets of trading cards. Those who buy two copies of the game are guaranteed two sealed copies of the games with both covers.

New data from Europe has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was the best-selling game of May. Nintendo’s exclusive sold 2.5x the second placed title, Hogwarts Legacy.

Tears of the Kingdom is the third best-selling game of the year across Europe after just three weeks, with FIFA 23 and Hogwarts Legacy only doing more – for now. If we’re strictly looking at physical since Nintendo doesn’t report digital sales, Zelda is indeed already the top game in Europe.

The next update for Dragon Ball: The Breakers, version 1.3.1.002, has now been released.

The patch includes a ton of adjustments to the Knock Back Gauge as the team lowered the high number of instances where Raiders could not finish off Survivors or destroy the activation system. Adjustments were also made to the Survivors’ means of resistance while maintaining the power of Raider Ginyu Force’s characteristic tag-team playstyle.

The full patch notes for the Dragon Ball: The Breakers version 1.3.1.002 update are as follows:

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer No Brakes Games today unveiled Human Fall Flat 2, a sequel to the successful puzzle platformer. A release window and platforms were not announced.

Human Fall Flat 2 is confirmed to be appearing on “consoles”. We’re typically hesitant to report on announcements when Switch isn’t specifically mentioned, but it stands to reason that this title will end up there. The original has seen a great deal of success on Nintendo’s system.

Here’s what’s  been shared thus far:

Yet another summer gaming presentation has been announced, with Suda51 studio Grasshopper Manufacture announcing Grasshopper Direct 2023. It will air on June 14 at 9 PM PT, which is June 15 at 12 AM ET / 5 AM in the UK / 6 AM in Europe.

Also announced is that the developer is working on Shadows of the Damned Remastered. However, we’ll note that this project hasn’t been confirmed for Switch just yet.

Grasshopper Manufacture is best known for the No More Heroes series. Some of the developer’s other works include The Silver Case, Sine Mora, and Killer 7.

Today, Die Gute Fabrik unveiled its new project Saltsea Chronicles. The title launches for Switch later in 2023.

Saltsea Chronicles, a story-driven adventure game, takes place in a post-flood world as a crew of misfits must heist a ship and mount a rescue of their missing captain. The game features a series of islands, different communities, and a mystery at the heart of story.
