Splatoon 3’s content cycle has largely come to an end, which means we may not see any major buffs or nerfs to weapons, subs, or specials. That means it’s as good a time as any to examine each of the game’s special weapons, how to use them most efficiently, and how to counter other players trying to use them against you.

If you haven’t played much Splatoon 3 lately, special weapons are arguably one of the most important elements of any game mode. They’re often responsible for completely turning the tide of battle upside down, especially when used well or coordinated with other teammates. It’s important to at least have a basic understanding of each special weapon you take into battle, and we’ll be going over basic to intermediate tips and tricks today.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom just came out, and we want to get impressions from those who started the game this week.

There’s no doubt that this is one of Nintendo’s biggest titles of the year and for Switch as a whole. Zelda has been going strong, but if we’re looking strictly at 2D games, this is the first one we’ve gotten in quite some time. It’s also significant for putting Zelda in the starring role and offering a new spin on the franchise’s formula while also taking inspiration from some of the things we saw from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

So if you’re playing Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, how are you feeling about it? Let us know in the comments below.

A Kickstarter campaign opened, and its first day, the funding target was smashed. Over $20,000 has been raised and that number is still rising. Switch was included in the base $15,000 goal, so we’ll be seeing the game on Switch in the future.

The Rocky Horror Video Game is coming soon to Switch, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures developer FreakZone Games has revealed. Bit Bot Media has plans to publish it as an October launch.

The Rocky Horror Video Game is an 8-bit side-scrolling platformer. Tying in with the music and movie from the 70s, players can “experience the strange journey of Brad and Janet like never before”. 8-bit chiptune renditions of legendary songs will be included.

Here’s the first trailer:

The Legend of Zelda series is home to some of the most iconic villains in all of gaming, and Echoes of Wisdom has just introduced a brand-new one, which is the Flag Race mini-game. If you haven’t encountered it already, you’ll unlock it after completing a few specific steps. First, you need to have progressed far enough in the story that Impa tells you about a white horse (you can’t miss it, don’t worry). From there, you’ll need to head to Hyrule Ranch and then close a rift to unlock Zelda’s signature white horse. However, that’s where the challenge starts: upon unlocking this specific horse, Hyrule Ranch starts offering the Flag Race mini-game that has exclusive prizes within. And the Flag race short course is particularly difficult.

The Pico Park series has only been available digitally on Switch thus far, but that’s about to change with the Pico Park 1 + 2 Switch physical release. It will be available on November 28, 2024 in Japan.

Tecopark will be distributing this new boxed edition, which includes an original sticker and a soundtrack download code. As you’d expect, Pico Park 1 and 2 will both be on a physical Switch cartridge for the first time.

United Label has come through with a launch trailer for Beyond Galaxyland. The game, an adventure RPG inspired by some of the most classic sci-fi movies of the 1980s and iconic turn-based RPGs of the 1990s, just released on Switch.

A bunch of information about it is included in the following overview:
