Nintendo added a new video to its Japanese YouTube channel today to promote the amiibo support in Super Mario Maker. Take a look below.
Nintendo released official videos for Densetsu no Stafy, Final Fight One, and Albert Odyssey on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console. Watch them below.
Nintendo held the Super Mario Maker “hackathon” event at Facebook’s headquarters today (continuing into tomorrow). You’ll find some photos of it below.
After the “hackathon” event, Nintendo will be selecting one Super Mario Maker level created by a Facebook employee. This will be available to download in the game at launch.
Do you remember Chompy Chomp Chomp Party? We covered it briefly in September 2013, though there hasn’t been much news on the game since.
Chompy Chomp Chomp Party resurfaced at the Nintendo Life Gaming Night in Cambridge, along with new information and footage. We also know that the game is targeted for release by the end of 2015.

Three classic Kirby games are coming to the North American Wii U eShop this week. Nintendo won’t say which ones they are yet, but each one is being released in celebration of the character’s birthday.
Nintendo sent out the following tweet just a few minutes ago:
To celebrate the birthday of everyone's favorite pink puffball, we're releasing 3 classic Kirby games in the #WiiU #eShop on 7/30!

We could be hearing about the names of these titles tomorrow, if previous leaks are anything to go by. If that doesn’t happen, we’ll know on Thursday morning at the latest!
It was previously announced that Freedom Planet would be coming to Wii U on August 3. However, the game’s release has since been delayed.
Developer Stephen DiDuro announced on Twitter that Freedom Planet will now be on Wii U sometime after RTX. He wrote:
Freedom Planet's Wii U release is being delayed until after RTX due to underestimating development time. More details coming soon.

RTX runs between August 7 and August 9. Freedom Planet should be heading to the eShop soon after – hopefully not too long!
