Xenoblade Chronicles 3 just received its latest update, version 1.3.0. This brings about the third part of the game’s Expansion Pass.
Masha, the newest Hero and a refined Lapidarist, is the highlight from the new Expansion Pass content. Additionally, players can now access Challenge Battles with roguelike elements. Multiple Heroes can be added, and it’s possible to unlock special abilities for your party as you play through the battle mode. New outfits can be unlocked as well.

Original (2/14): The Pathless recently launched for Switch on the eShop, and it’s now been announced that a physical version is on the way. This comes from iam8bit and distribution partner Skybound Games, together with publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Giant Squid Studios.
The iam8bit Exclusive Edition will include a bounty of extra goodies, including a reversible cover sheet, set of six exclusive art cards, and a giant foldout poster featuring Hunter and The Eagle set amongst a mystical landscape displaced by the curse of a great darkness. The base retail edition contains a set of six art cards along with the physical disc—perfect for those looking for a nice bonus in their physical games. Emmy Award winner Elaine Lee designed all cover art.
We previously mentioned that Dragon Ball: The Breakers is about to kick off Season 2, but alongside that, a new version 2.0 update is planned as well. Bandai Namco has shared the patch notes.
There’s actually quite a bit planed here, but we’ll point out some of the highlights. Online match now has role select with different options, various adjustments will be implemented, and bugs will be fixed.

Today, Branching Narrative and Nellyvision announced that Deathtrap Dungeon: The Interactive Video Adventure is on the way to Switch. It will be available in Q2 2023.
Deathtrap Dungeon: The Interactive Video Adventure is based on the classic Fighting Fantasy gamebook by Ian Livingstone. It stars British actor Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan, The Fast and The Furious: Hobbs and Shaw, Deadpool 2), who acts as narrator and guide in this faithful recreation of the fantasy book.

Limited Run Games provided more information about its physical version of Skelattack for Switch, including a collector’s edition. This was initially announced last June but details weren’t shared at the time.
Both a standard version and collector’s edition – technically dubbed the Classic Edition – are planned. The latter includes the game, the soundtrack, a retro sleeve, and poster in a classic Konami silver box.
Original (2/3): Nintendo and Illumination have shared the official poster for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. All of the major characters are here including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Bowser, and Donkey Kong.
We did see a few posters for The Super Mario Bros. Movie previously. However, these were character-specific. The one pictured above is what will really be used to promote the film.
With Redemption Reapers only being a few days away, a “final” trailer for the game has come in. Fans can get another look at the dark fantasy tactical RPG from Binary Haze Interactive and Adglobe.

The Pixel Hunt today confirmed a release date for The Wreck, its 3D visual novel for Switch. The title launches on March 14, 2023.
The Wreck was previously made known for Switch last August. It was initially planned for 2022, but it was quietly delayed. Thankfully, today’s date appears to be final.
The PowerWash Simulator Final Fantasy VII Midgar Special Pack that was announced just a little while back now has a release date, along with new details and screenshots.
Five levels will be included in total with players working to clear up the mess made by Don Corneo’s lackeys, Professor Hojo’s ‘specimens’ and Heidegger’s dangerous tech. They’ll take on jobs from members of Avalanche as well as Shinra bigshots. While doing the cleaning job, players will discover their stories through text messages.
New dirt types are planned like bio-residue, and some iconic locations will be included. You can find a rundown of the levels below.
