Square Enix is starting off the week with a new Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake overview trailer. Fans can get a look at what the RPG has to offer, the updated graphical style, and more.

Find some information about the game in the following overview:

Gigantamax, a feature that originally appeared in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield on Switch, is now heading to Pokemon GO.

Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise are first up in the mobile game. In order to take them down, players who have at least one Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon will need to participate in groups of 10 to 40 people in Max Battles, which are located at Power Spots throughout the map. Only then can the formidable Power Spot Bosses be caught. If players are lucky enough, a Shiny version will appear. Fans will be happy to hear that series composer Junichi Masuda arranged new music inspired by Pokemon Sword and Shield.

The Stone of Madness, which we previously reported on a few years ago, finally has a release date. Tripwire Interactive, The Game Kitchen, and Teku Studios have it lind up for January 28, 2025.

The Stone of Madness, a tactical stealth adventure game, was announced for Switch way back in 2020. The original goal was to have it ready for 2021, but it goes without saying that this did not happen.

Wales Interactive, typically known for publishing FMV games, today announced Slasher: Origins in partnership with developer Little Army Studio. The title launches on Switch in Q1 2025.

In case you missed our original report, below is an overview of the game:

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake continues to dominate, and otherwise things are mostly status quo.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between September 25 and October 1.

The next summoning event for Fire Emblem Heroes, Aided Dagr & Rearmed Marianne, has now been revealed.

Aided Hero Dagr: Sunny Bloom and three Heroes from  Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be appearing. Additionally, the next Grand Hero Battle with Metodey: Shrewd Braggart kicks off on October 16.

There’s a new Tera Raid Battle event for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the way, and rather than one or two Pokemon, it’ll feature four – specifically Amarouge, Ceruledge, Stonjourner, and Eiscu.

Each of them will be appearing in 5 Star Raids. No matter if you have Scarlet or Violet, you’ll be able to encounter the full set.

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include the lowest prices ever for AI: The Somnium Files (both games), Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, MLB The Show 24, and more.
