About a month ago, Arc System Works held a special poll. Fans were able to vote on the game they’d like to see president Minoru Kidooka play at EVO 2018. The results are in, and we have a winner.

Five games in total were nominated, including two Smash Bros. titles. In the end, Super Smash Bros. Meleee beat out all choices with nearly half of all votes.

Arc System Works brought Eat Beat Deadspike-san, a rhythm action game spin-off of BlazBlue, to Switch this week. We have some footage below.

Update (3/22): Gotcha Racing 2nd is now confirmed for March 29 in North America as well.

Original (3/21): Gotcha Racing 2nd was recently outed by a rating from Taiwan. A listing has since appeared on the Japanese eShop, confirming a Japanese release date of March 29. We also have first details.

The general premise is that Gotcha Racing 2nd is a racing game with a birds-eye view where players use machines customized with parts obtained from rolling gacha. There are around 700 types of parts appearing here. Prize money can be used to roll the gacha and customize your machine to be even more powerful. Surplus parts can also be compounded to strengthen your machine, so you can make your own original machine.

Visual novel World End Syndrome was originally supposed to launch on April 26 in Japan. However, Arc System Works has announced today that the game has been delayed to “Summer 2018” in order to improve its quality.

Currently, World End Syndrome has only been announced for Japan. We will keep you updated should a localization be announced, or if we hear about a more concrete release date for Japan.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is a fighting mashup of four different franchises. BlazBlue, Persona 4 (Arena), Under Night In-Birth, and RWBY are all represented here.

When Cross Tag Battle was initially announced, RWBY’s inclusion was arguably the most surprising inclusion. Producer Toshimichi Mori explained how the collaboration came to be in an interview with GamerHubTV.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle had previously been announced for North America and Europe. Thankfully, Europe won’t be left behind, as PQube has announced it will publish the game in PAL regions this summer.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will first appear in Japan on May 31. The North American release will follow on June 5.
