Stella Glow “Song Magic” trailer
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Videos | 0 comments
Atlus issued a new Stella Glow trailer today focusing on Song Magic. View it below, along with a description of the game’s mechanic.
Song Magic. It’s one of the core mechanics in Stella Glow – only 5 people on the planet know how to use Song Magic, and coincidentally, all of them are Witches. Unfortunately, one of those 5 is hell-bent on wiping out all of humanity. THANKS, HILDA.
But the good news is that as the protagonist Alto, you’ll be able to recruit Witches to join your party and as the Song Stone meter gradually fills during the game’s battles, you’ll be able to use tide-turning song magic to debuff or damage enemies, or heal allies! It all depends on which Witch you use and well, your own particular brand of playstyle since the strategy RPG offers many, many ways to win in battle.
But as we’ve talked about earlier, spending portions of the game’s Free Time to tune a Witch’s heart will unlock more song magic (and increase your bond with them!) check out more about song magic in the latest trailer!

Genei Ibun Roku #FE composer on his involvement, character based on his look in the game
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 3 Comments
A few hours ago, a new Genei Ibun Roku #FE blog post went live on the game’s Japanese website. This one comes from composer Yoshiaki Fujisawa.
You can find a breakdown of Fujisawa’s post below. All translations come courtesy of Siliconera.
– Fujisawa has worked on plenty of music arrangements in the past
– This includes arrangements for talents such as Kenichi “Hyadain” Maeyamada, music for some anime such as Nichijou, and more recently Love Live and GATE
– Working for Avex Group on this game
– His work with Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem all started back with a single phone call in late-fall of 2013
– Avex’s Aburai [George Aburai] asked if he was busy and gave him a proposal
– From there, it was decided that he’d join the staff in the development of a new game
– This would end up being the new Wii U game
– He then met up with the developers and sound team, learned more about the game
– He was a bit nervous, considering that he’s more familiar with working on music for anime and TV shows
– First thing he felt: “it was very difficult!”
– He struggled a lot in the completely different mindset that is required for making video game music, as he’s more familiar with how things are done for TV shows.
– Everything from the timing, flow, and feelings of a song, were all different from the way he usually works on music
– However, the sound team from Atlus gave him all kinds of advice that came in handy for his work
– He says working with the team in an incredibly creative environment, where ideas shapes themselves up, was really fun
– He recalls how excited he felt when they first checked out a demonstration of one of his songs, although he says that he was always nervous whenever it came to presenting the songs
– For this game, “entertainment” is a big theme
– Fujisawa explains that the game is full of songs that bring out the feelings of the stages and floors, and plenty of groovy tracks
– “Especially for the battles—I just can’t help but want to dance [to the music] while fighting!”
– He explains that all the field and event scene tracks have been made with a variety of tracks that have been made through the challenges of ideas provided from the team
– “Oh, and everything about this title is overwhelmingly great, if I do say so myself.”
– The above image is a character that appears in the game, and it was modeled after the composer’s actual look

If you have a North American 3DS system, you can now get a demo for The Legend of Legacy. Atlus released the download earlier this afternoon. I haven’t downloaded it myself yet, but I’d imagine it has somewhere around 30 plays!
Ready for an adventure? Turn your 3DS on! The Legend of Legacy demo is now available on the eShop! pic.twitter.com/2Js8PcT0dl

Stella Glow coming to North America on Nov. 17, launch edition, battle trailer
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 3 Comments
In a new announcement published today, Atlus confirmed that Stella Glow is due out in North America on November 17. The game will be sold in stores and on the eShop for $49.99 / CA $59.99.
For the retail version, Atlus is preparing a special “Launch Edition”. This will be available to those who pre-order the game “and a small quantity of launch day copies.”
Here’s an overview of the different goodies included inside:
Hilda’s Crystal Garden Cloth Poster — This is a large poster made of cloth (so it won’t permanently crease by being folded in the package!) that features the striking image of Hilda, the Witch of Destruction posing with her scythe atop a seat of crystals.
Bubu Flexi-Charm — Bubu is the pet pig of the Witch Popo, and hopefully by now you’ve insinuated that it’s super cute (because it is!). The charm is soft vinyl and since Bubu is such a loyal companion, the charm can be attached to whatever needs more piggy goodness. Oh, and it’s a real porker too at approximately 3″ x 3″.
“Song Magic” CD — This is a 5-song disc featuring the vocal themes of the five Witches. The CD will arrive in a separate sleeve featuring artwork from the Witch Tuning sequences from the game.
Collectible Outer Box — Similar to what we did with The Legend of Legacy, all the aforementioned premiums will be included in a large outer box. We didn’t just reuse the 3DS game cover either — the outer box is a new design featuring the protagonist, Alto, and the five Witches. Lisette on the spine of the box is a nice touch, and I once again salute our designers for putting together such a great-looking package.
Check out a new Stella Glow battle trailer below. We also have an overview of the game after the break.

Genei Ibun Roku #FE launching this December in Japan
Posted on 9 years ago by Dennis Gagliardotto(@LyonHart_) in News, Wii U | 6 Comments
The game formerly known as Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem now has an official release date for Japan. Nintendo has just announced that the Wii U exclusive title will be making its way to store shelves on December 26th this year.
The game will come in three different formats: Standard, the “Fortissimo Edition”, and a Wii U bundle. Standard edition gives you just the game for normal retail price, while the Fortissimo Edition will give tons of extra goodies typically found in ATLUS releases — this includes an art book, a soundtrack, codes for costume DLC, as well as a special boxart. The Wii U bundle has everything included in the Fortissimo Edition, plus, of course, the console, added stickers, and DLC for three extra quests. Additionally, those who purchase the Fortissimo Edition or Wii U bundle will be able to obtain tickets for a concert taking place in Japan on May 15.
No official date yet on when Genei Ibun Roku #FE will be coming west, but it is slated for 2016 in Europe and North America.
Below you can find photos on all the contents contained in the aforementioned Genei Ibun Roku #FE editions.
The Legend of Legacy trailer – Owen, Eloise, and Filmia; demo on September 22
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Videos | 0 comments
Atlus’ latest The Legend of Legacy trailer provides a look at three more characters: Owen, Eloise, and Filmia. Check out the video below.
Here’s an overview of the different characters:
Owen
A mercenary who excels at combat, he’s known for his battle prowess as the “Baron.” His attacks are strong and he has a penchant for long swords, axes, and shields. But like Garnet, he doesn’t have any affinity to the elementals.Eloise
As an alchemist, Eloise has a…unique pursuit after arriving on Avalon. Her dedication to the alchemical arts combined with her beauty has her searching the mysterious island for the secret to eternal youth. You might think of Eloise as being similar to a mage-type character, and you’d be right! She has affinities for ALL the elements, and excels with either bow or staff.
Filmia
He’s a frog. He has an awesome dance. Do I really need to say more, because I know you’re going to pick him first anyways. Well, you should also know that he’s the heir to a lost kingdom, and looking to find a home for his people on Avalon!Filmia is one of the stronger attackers in the game and excels with spears. You should equip him with a spear (insert frog gig joke here). Also, being a frog, he has a strong bond with the water element.
Along with today’s trailer, Atlus confirmed that The Legend of Legacy will be receiving a demo on September 22. This will offer the prologue and first two dungeons. There are a total of 30 plays, and save data can be transferred to the full version.
