The game formerly known as Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem now has an official release date for Japan. Nintendo has just announced that the Wii U exclusive title will be making its way to store shelves on December 26th this year.

The game will come in three different formats: Standard, the “Fortissimo Edition”, and a Wii U bundle. Standard edition gives you just the game for normal retail price, while the Fortissimo Edition will give tons of extra goodies typically found in ATLUS releases — this includes an art book, a soundtrack, codes for costume DLC, as well as a special boxart. The Wii U bundle has everything included in the Fortissimo Edition, plus, of course, the console, added stickers, and DLC for three extra quests. Additionally, those who purchase the Fortissimo Edition or Wii U bundle will be able to obtain tickets for a concert taking place in Japan on May 15.

No official date yet on when Genei Ibun Roku #FE will be coming west, but it is slated for 2016 in Europe and North America.

Below you can find photos on all the contents contained in the aforementioned Genei Ibun Roku #FE editions.

Atlus’ latest The Legend of Legacy trailer provides a look at three more characters: Owen, Eloise, and Filmia. Check out the video below.

Here’s an overview of the different characters:

Owen
A mercenary who excels at combat, he’s known for his battle prowess as the “Baron.” His attacks are strong and he has a penchant for long swords, axes, and shields. But like Garnet, he doesn’t have any affinity to the elementals.

Eloise
As an alchemist, Eloise has a…unique pursuit after arriving on Avalon. Her dedication to the alchemical arts combined with her beauty has her searching the mysterious island for the secret to eternal youth.

You might think of Eloise as being similar to a mage-type character, and you’d be right! She has affinities for ALL the elements, and excels with either bow or staff.

Filmia
He’s a frog. He has an awesome dance. Do I really need to say more, because I know you’re going to pick him first anyways. Well, you should also know that he’s the heir to a lost kingdom, and looking to find a home for his people on Avalon!

Filmia is one of the stronger attackers in the game and excels with spears. You should equip him with a spear (insert frog gig joke here). Also, being a frog, he has a strong bond with the water element.

Along with today’s trailer, Atlus confirmed that The Legend of Legacy will be receiving a demo on September 22. This will offer the prologue and first two dungeons. There are a total of 30 plays, and save data can be transferred to the full version.

Towards the very end of August, the Genei Ibun Roku #FE website was updated with two new staff blogs. Art director Fumitaka Yano and Hideo Minaba from CyDesignation both discussed the designs of Mirages. While battling, the main characters merge themselves with Mirages, who take the appearance of characters from the Fire Emblem series.

We now have complete translations of the two blog posts. You’ll find them after the break.

Atlus held a live stream for The Legend of Legacy on Twitch a short while ago. For the full recording, which contains over an hour of footage, continue on below.

Atlus prepared another trailer for The Legend of Legacy trailer, which you can watch below. Today’s video highlights the characters Liber and Garnet.

Here’s an overview of both characters:

Liber
A treasure hunter with a penchant for danger, and also profiting off said danger, Liber is coming to Avalon not for a noble cause, but rather to line his pockets.

Being the resourceful adventurer, Liber is one of the strongest supports in the game and excels with bare fists, short swords, and spears. Plus, Liber has a strong affinity for the wind element.

Garnet
A trained templar knight, Garnet is loyal to her holy order, and is exploring Avalon to stamp out the heretics spreading blasphemous rumors about gods returning to the mortal realm.

Garnet has balanced offense and defense, making her versatile in party formations. She prefers long swords and shields, and she doesn’t have any elemental affinities at all.

Atlus prepared a new Stella Glow video today which highlights the witch tuning mechanic. View the trailer below, along with an overview of the gameplay system.

If you’ll recall, the game centers around the five witches of the world (4 good, 1 bad…when you’re called Hilda the witch of Destruction, you get pigeonholed, I guess) and their use of song magic. They are the only ones left in the world that can wield this magic, and what good is a song if it’s out of tune?!

That’s why Alto, the game’s protagonist, has the ability to literally “tune” the witches. In doing so, he’ll enter the witch’s heart and have to combat all the anxiety, fears, and nightmares plaguing her psyche.

And because Stella Glow operates on a revolving cycle of Free Time/Mission Time, players will have to make crucial decisions to build bonds with the witches they choose in order to gain enough trust to Tune them.

Atlus is shipping Stella Glow in North America this holiday season.

Atlus has put out a new trailer to highlight the characters Meurs and Bianca. Overviews of each are below, along with the new video.

Bianca
A young girl with long, ice-blonde hair, Bianca awakens on Avalon with no memory of how she got there. Or anything else for that matter. She is a mild and gentle girl who despite her unfortunate circumstances and loss of memory remains optimistic. Bianca senses that the answers to her memory loss lie deep within the island, and she is determined to recover her identity.

Bianca’s base stats imply that she is well suited for a support class. She has affinities for wind and fire elements, and prefers to use short swords, axes, spears, and bows in combat.

Meurs
One of the few remaining elementalists alive. The elements have been gathering to Avalon for unknown reasons, and Meurs is determined to find out why they’ve been so attracted to the island. He communicates with the elements and travels the earth with the spirits as his guide.

Meurs also makes for a strong support ally in battle and prefers short swords with a shield. He has a strong affinity for the wind element.
