It’s been rumored for a while, but today Nintendo has officially confirmed that the Minecraft New 2DS XL – Creeper Edition will launch in Europe on October 19. In addition to sporting the distinctive creeper design, it will come pre-loaded with Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition.

Last week, we reported on the rebranding of Nintendo of Europe’s online stores as “My Nintendo Stores”. Today, we’re seeing the first implementation of the My Nintendo rewards program with these stores. You can now buy My Nintendo Store vouchers using Gold Points. There are three vouchers available – 1€, 3€ and 5€, which cost 100, 300 and 500 Gold Points, respectively. These vouchers can be used on the European My Nintendo Store on a minimum order total of €20 (not including shipping costs). One voucher can be used per order. You can get the vouchers here.

Some other rewards have also been added to My Nintendo in Europe – among them the eight printable Octopath Travelers box art covers which have been available in other regions for a while now. Here are all the new rewards:

Print-it-yourself cover – Octopath Traveler – 50 Platinum Points

Wallpaper – Splatoon 2 (Octolings) – 50 Platinum Points

30% Discount on Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console) – 50 Platinum Points

40% Discount on Metroid: Other M (Wii U) – 80 Gold Points

30% Discount on Nintendo Selects: Star Fox 64 3D (Nintendo 3DS) – 60 Gold Points

50% Discount on Balloon Kid (Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console) – 15 Gold Points

40% Discount on Polarium Advance (Wii U Virtual Console) – 30 Gold Points

40% Discount on Paper Mario: Color Splash (Wii U) – 200 Gold Points

For a while now, Nintendo of Europe has been selling download codes for games as well as officially licensed merchandise via its online store. However, the selection has always been somewhat limited compared to the official Nintendo UK store. It seems like this will soon be changing, as a new banner on the store’s splash page promises that the store will be updated with new merchandise this September. However, more importantly, the store has now been rebranded as the “My Nintendo Store”. 

Nothing has changed yet, but the name change seems to indicate that the store will be tied to the My Nintendo rewards program in some way. This would follow what Nintendo did it in Japan with its online store, which also integrated the My Nintendo brand and has been offering a lot of unique and exclusive products since then.

We will keep you updated once more changes come to light.

A few weeks ahead of the game’s launch, Nintendo has released a demo for WarioWare Gold on the European 3DS eShop. No word yet on a North American release, but it’s possible we’ll hear about it later today. There’s also a trailer for the demo, which you can watch below:

Three Nintendo 3DS games are joining the Nintendo Selects lineup in Europe starting tomorrow: Super Mario Maker for 3DS, Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Welcome amiibo and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. They will be available at a discounted price both in retail stores and on the 3DS eShop. Today, Nintendo announced that an additional 10% discount on the eShop for these games can be claimed via My Nintendo starting tomorrow at 10:00 BST.

It’s the start of a new month, which means new rewards just got added to My Nintendo in Europe.

We’re approaching the 1-year anniversary of ARMS, and Nintendo is celebrating that by offering a total of six ARMS-themed PC and mobile wallpapers featuring the game’s characters. They cost 50 Platinum Points each and will be available until December 1st, 2018.

Also on offer is a new 3DS home menu theme: Animal Crossing: Summer Fun. It costs 20 Gold Points and will be available until September 1st, 2018.

Finally, there are a total of four new 3DS and Wii U software discounts on offer:

30% off Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move (Nintendo 3DS) – 100 Platinum Points

50% off Contra III The Alien Wars (SNES Virtual Console on Wii U and New Nintendo 3DS) – 40 Gold Points

Now, Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of Australia have followed up with pricing information for their regions. Below are the prices for the service in €, £, and $ in Australia and New Zealand:
