Gamescom will take place in Cologne from August 5th to August 9th. If you attend, be on the lookout for the Pokemon area if you own a copy of Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire since you’ll be able to receive a code card that gives you access to 2 out of 4 possible Pokemon. They were selected by Shigeki Morimoto, a developer at Game Freak who has worked on most Pokemon games. The Pokemon are as follows:

Aromatisse with Trick Room, Heal Pulse, Disable, Moonblast; Held item: Babiri Berry; Ability: Aroma Veil

Malamar with Superpower, Knock Off, Facade, Rock Slide; Held item: Assault Vest; Ability: Contrary

Sableye with Calm Mind, Will-O-Wisp, Recover, Shadow Ball; Held item: Sablenite; Ability: Prankster

Nintendo is bringing three new Animal Crossing cover plates for the New 3DS to Europe. That information is confirmed by the series’ official Facebook page, which posted the image above earlier today. Each one of the cover plates is due out on October 2.

Nintendo Benelux just announced that Tomodachi Life, which has been a huge success worldwide, is getting a Dutch translation in October. This is quite unusual since the game has been out in Europe for over a year now and usually games aren’t getting a separate Dutch translation since the level of English proficiency is quite high in the Netherlands. Nintendo might be aiming to attract younger players with this decision.

Natsume is publishing Gotcha Racing in North America sometime this summer. But what about Europe?

There’s no date yet, but there are plans to release Gotcha Racing in Europe. It’s unclear if Natsume will be handling the game’s launch in this region, or if another company will be responsible.

Legend of Kay Anniversary should be launching in North America next Tuesday. In Europe, gamers may need to wait a few extra weeks.

Some of Amazon’s websites, such as its UK and German divisions, now say that Legend of Kay Anniversary is scheduled for August 11. This new date hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but things aren’t looking good.

Nintendo provided a European release date update for the 8-bit Mario amiibo over on its Twitter account. The Classic Colors Mario variant is reconfirmed for September 11, which we heard about previously. It’s also now known that the Modern Colors edition is due out on October 23.

Nintendo has revealed a Super Mario Maker Wii U bundle for Europe. It’ll come with a Wii U console, a copy of the game (with the art book), and Classic Colors Mario amiibo. Consumers can purchase the bundle when Super Mario Maker launches – September 11.

Nintendo will be including six cards with the Animal Crossing amiibo card packs when they launch in North America. It’s being handled differently in Japan, as there will only be three random cards in each pack. We now also know what the situation will be like in Europe.

Nintendo’s website from Norway confirms that there will only be three cards in each of the Animal Crossing amiibo booster packs in Europe, much like Japan. One of these includes a “special card”.
