Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse has gone gold. WayForward announced the news on Twitter a few minutes ago, writing:

WayForward still hasn’t announced a release date for Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse. However, I imagine that will be changing soon!

Spikey Walls heading to Europe in Q1 2015

Spikey Walls is set for a Q1 2015 release in Europe, developer RCMADIAX has confirmed.
The studio wrote on Twitter today:

Spikey Walls just launched on the North American Wii U eShop last week. It can be purchased for $0.99.

Nefarious funded on Kickstarter, coming to Wii U

Nefarious has been successfully funded on Kickstarter. This one truly came down to the last second, as the project hit its $50,000 target with just minutes remaining. Nefarious is now guaranteed for Wii U having reached its goal.

Psyscrolr heading to the Wii U eShop this fall

Actos Games has confirmed plans to launch Psyscrolr on the Wii U eShop this fall.
Jonathan Meyer, founder of the studio, shared the news on Twitter:

Here’s an overview of the game shared a couple of months ago:
Welcome to the world of psyscrolr, a tale of a young man outcast from his society by gaining powers he never wanted or had. The Scrolr, which is the main character, must find his way through the beautiful landscapes while solving puzzles, fighting enemies, and uncovering the truth of his world while being hunted by the Magi; a sect of wizards who wish to put an end to the Scrolr’s new powers.
Utilizing the Wii U GamePad, interact with the world directly as you make contact from your world to the Scrolr’s world. Move objects, shoot fireballs, block hits… the touch is your greatest weapon.

Renegade Kid has regained the rights to the Dementium IP. That means, going forward, the studio can choose to make additional sequels.
Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham passed along the news on Twitter a few minutes ago. He wrote:
I am ecstatic to announce that Renegade Kid now has the rights to create Dementium sequels! EXCITE!!
