Nintendo released official videos for Shining Soul II and Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console. Watch them below.

Marvelous pushed out a new round of Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages screenshots and art showing a good chunk of Famitsu’s coverage from last week. Get a look at the latest images below.

Update: We’ve now learned some additional info: the game will be released on June 16th in Japan. Also, there will be a collaboration with the Ace Attorney franchise – the game will feature a medley with popular songs from several Ace Attorney games, and Phoenix Wright will be one of Don-chan’s partners in the game’s RPG-like Mystery Adventure mode.

– “Mystery Adventure Mode” features the series’ familiar Don-chan and Kacchan
– Travel around the world exploring mystery spots and participating in musical performance battles to advance

The latest entry of the Taiko Drum Master series, Taiko Drum Master: Doko Don! Mystery Adventure, has been revealed for 3DS via Famitsu. Expect some more details once we get our hands on the full scans of this week’s issue of Famitsu tomorrow.

Like with most Taiko Drum Master games, don’t expect this to get released in the West. Still, it’s nice to see that the series is still going strong in Japan.

Square Enix has been teasing Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3’s demo for awhile now. Today, the company finally announced that the download is due out on March 9 at 10 AM Japan time via the eShop.

Those who download the demo can try out the series’ “Monster Scout” system, along with new elements such as the “Ride System,” and monster and field object analysis using the new “Reactor” tool. Clearing it will award players with a “present code” that can be used in the full game.

Also, as a reminder, downloading the 3DS tool Dragon Quest X: Boukensha no Odekake Chou Benri Tool will allow users to obtain the “Reactor” tool in Dragon Quest X.

Kotobukiya has started accepting pre-orders (overseas shipping not available) for the new Xenoblade Chronicles X plastic model, which is based on the game’s Formula Skell / Doll. In Japan, this will be released in July. Pricing is set at 8,424 yen.

The 175mm model (1/48 scale) comes with the ability to transform from Skell / Doll form to vehicle form. Armaments include Sword, Machinegun, Grenade, Beamsaber, and Shield. It also comes with decals that can be placed on the model.

Square Enix has revealed the file size for Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3. The game takes up 6,858 blocks on an SD card, or 857MB. In Japan, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 can now be pre-loaded from the 3DS eShop.

Lost Reavers, which will soon launch in the West as confirmed in the latest Nintendo Direct, has been available in Japan for a while. The download-only title will soon receive another update in Japan, which will add, among other things, a new dungeon, new costumes and several new weapons. On April 27th, the soundtrack for Fire Emblem Fates will be available for purchase in Japan. For 6800 Yen, you’ll get a total of 134 tracks on 7 CDs. Also included is a DVD which contains all of the game’s cutscenes and tracks from the DLC and amiibo stages.
