UK sales for January 2019 – Switch sells more physical titles than the Xbox One for the first time

New sales data is in from the UK for the month of January 2019.
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, a new entrant, charted at #4. While one month sales were up 17% compared to the original Wii U game, Switch had a much higher install base at the time.

Thanks to Nintendo’s latest financial results, we’re able to get a look at the company’s latest million sellers. There are a few new entries this time around, and a couple are already at 10 million.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the current best-selling Switch game at just over 15 million. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, a new entrant, sits at 12.08 million worldwide. Pokemon: Let’s Go has also sold 10 million copies.

We have another round of data based on the latest NPD report, including a bit of recap earlier this week. All told, Switch had a great year having sold 5.6 million units in the United States. The system has also surpassed 10 million units on the whole.
