After two decades, Square Enix is bringing back its classic RPG Legend of Mana. A remastered version of the game is heading to Switch this summer.
Legend of Mana appears to be a digital-only release for the most part, but Square Enix is making an exception in Japan. The company’s e-Store will be selling a collector’s edition that includes a copy of the game, an art book, official soundtrack, and Li’l Cactus plush. Pricing is set at 14,300 yen.
The Legend of Mana remaster launches for Switch on June 24.

Plans for games often change during development, and Dragon Quest XI is no exception. In a recent interview published by Square Enix, 3D art director Yoshiko Hiyama revealed that for Heliodor, there was originally “an idea to include a well that connects to an underground area – an element that follows traditional gameplay found in Dragon Quest games.”
That plan was scrapped, though it did end up elsewhere. As for why it didn’t make sense in Heliodor, Hiyama said the city “was already quite voluminous” and there was already a secret passage.

Trials of Mana sells 1 million copies worldwide
Posted on 4 years ago by Bryce(@brodee922) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Square Enix has announced that Trails of Mana has sold over a million copies. This is counting worldwide sales for the systems PS4, PC, and Switch (both digitally and physically).
This is a big accomplishment for the game that is a remake of the Japanese exclusive Seiken Densetsu 3 that launched in 1995 on the SNES. The game has been out for under a year, so there may be another sales update in the future.
