The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Nintendo has published the latest parts of its interview with Zelda: Breath of the Wild director Hideomaro Fujibayashi and series producer Eiji Aonuma. Once again, the discussion focuses mostly on The Champions’ Ballad DLC. The two talked about how they went about approaching new story content this time around, dungeon design, the new outfits, and more.

You can read the discussion in full below. Nintendo warns of spoilers, but there’s not really anything that’s discussed in terms of the story scenes or sequences specifically. Still, keep that warning in mind before proceeding.

As always, faithful Breath of the Wild director Mr. Fujibayashi has shared, along with some words about the Champion’s Ballad DLC 2, ingredients for a recipe in the game on Switch.

Today’s recipe, according to the director, is a dish called Sneaky Steamed Fish. He playfully adds that it may help you during one of your earlier challenges during The Champion’s Ballad.

The ingredients are as follows: Silent Shroom (x3), Stealthfin Trout (x1), and Silent Princess (x1). To get these items, as usual, just head to the news channel on your Switch and make sure you’re subscribed to Zelda news.

Nintendo has announced that they will be holding a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild live stream on Japanese video service NicoNico on December 12th at 9PM JST. The main purpose of this stream seems to be a segment called “Player’s Voice”, during which experiences, stories and adventures by players from their time with Breath of the Wild will be shared. Of course, given the timing of this stream, it’s also possible that this will be the first time we get to see the upcoming Champions’ Ballad DLC, which at the moment still has a fairly vague release window of “December”. It’s not a certainty by any means that this live stream will talk about the DLC in any way, but if they do, you will hear about it from us.
