Kirby and the Rainbow Curse’s debut sales in the U.S. are in. Last month, the game sold 52,000 copies, according to reliable NPD leaker “creamsugar”. It should be noted that because Kirby and the Rainbow Curse launched towards the end of February, that figure only accounts for about a week of sales.

The only other piece of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse sales data comes from Japan. First week sales for the game (as revealed by Media Create a few weeks ago) came in at 32,000 units. Total units sold should be at around 60,000 units at this point.

Nintendo has shared a notable stat from this month’s NPD report. According to the company, all versions of the 3DS sold a combined 395,000 units in the U.S. last month.

A Nintendo spokesperson told GamesBeat, “The great majority of these sales were New Nintendo 3DS XL systems, which sold 130 percent more units in its initial frame than Nintendo 3DS XL did when it launched on Aug. 19, 2012.”

Gaming hardware sales for the industry were up $378.2 million for a 10 percent bump year-over-year. The launch of the New 3DS XL provided a large contribution to that figure.

Regarding Wii U, Nintendo says that “hardware sales have increased by more than 20 percent” thus far in 2015 compared to the same period in 2014.

Level-5 appears to be preparing two new Yo-Kai games. In the back pages of CoroCoro Comic’s latest issue, it’s revealed that Yo-Kai Watch 3 as well as Yo-Kai Watch Busters are in development.

Yo-Kai Watch 3 should come as no surprise given the franchise’s success. Yo-Kai Watch Busters is a bit more interesting. This was a game mode in Yo-Kai Watch 2, but is now getting a full-fledged release. Thus far, we know that Yo-Kai Watch Busters will allow up to four players to team up and take on boss yo-kai together.

We’ll be hearing about Yo-Kai Watch 3 and Yo-Kai Watch Busters in the next issue of CoroCoro Comics.

Atlus announced today that Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight is launching in North America this summer. It will be available in stores and on the eShop for $49.99.

Read on below for an overview of Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold’s features. We’ve also gone ahead and attached the game’s English announcement trailer.

Creatures of Comfort: Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold is the seventh entry in the Etrian franchise (eighth if you count Persona Q, and you know we do) and has a level of refinement that could only come from consumer feedback. Improved systems and mapping make Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold one of the most approachable Etrian titles to date.

Untold Classics: Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold has two ways to play the game, continuing the tradition of the Untold franchise. Classic mode revisits the original Etrian Odyssey 2 with updated graphics, player conveniences, and a full roster of classes. Story mode features a fixed party, but includes voiced dialogue, animated cutscenes and a bittersweet arc that explores the relationship between Arianna and the Fafnir Knight.
