Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition

Ten years after its original release, Tales of Vesperia is making a return – and on Switch.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition was announced during Microsoft’s E3 2018 media briefing today. Following the event, Bandai Namco confirmed that the RPG will release on Switch as well.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

YouTube Live at E3 is returning for its usual coverage of the expo. Geoff Keighley will be hosting the proceedings, which will feature new games, demos, guests, and more. All of the fun starts later today.

One session to keep an eye on is the 5:30 PM ET slot on Monday. A reveal for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is planned with a “first look at something new”.

Afterparty

At the end of last year, Oxenfree developer Night School Studio announced its next game Afterparty. The company confirmed today during an IGN E3 stream that it’s coming to Switch.

Afterparty is an adventure games about Milo and Lola, two recently deceased best friends who find themselves facing an eternity in Hell. But with a loophole, those who can outdrink Satan can return to Earth.

FIFA 18 was the first time EA had its soccer franchise on a Nintendo platform in several years. Despite being a solid effort in some ways, there were some notable and surprising omissions such as the inability to play with friends online.

With FIFA 19, EA has addressed this. The Switch version is playable at EA Play, and Press Start reports that you can play your friends in full best of five online friendlies.

FIFA 19 is coming to Switch on September 28, EA revealed today. The game will feature the addition of the UEFA Champions League and stars Cristiano Ronaldo.

The first E3 press conference of 2018 will be kicking off not too long from now. EA will be up first with its EA Play 2018 event at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM in the UK / 8 PM in Europe.

If we’re being perfectly honest, we don’t expect a whole lot of Switch news here. FIFA 19 will almost certainly be shown, but that may very well be it.

Pode

Bomb Chicken isn’t the only game from the last Nindies Showcase to have just received a release date. Similar to that title, Pode is coming to Switch this month – and it’s less than two weeks away.
