Koei Tecmo has published a new trailer (in Japanese) for Fire Emblem Warriors. The video show off all of the characters from Fire Emblem Awakening that have been revealed so far: Chrom, both male and female Robin, Lucina, Cordelia, Lissa and Frederick. Check it out:

Capcom

Following several other developers and publishers, Capcom has now also revealed its lineup of games for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, which starts in two weeks (thanks to Gematsu for the translation). Capcom isn’t bringing a whole lot of games in general, and only three that are on Nintendo systems – Monster Hunter Stories, to showcase its 1.2 update, and both Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2 on Switch, all of which will be playable on the show floor.

Other than the Bound Hero Battle starting today, we have some more Fire Emblem Heroes news. Nephenee and the Black Knight now appear as enemies in the Quick Hero Battle web mini-game, and as such, we now have both of their character artwork. As for when they will be added to the mobile game itself, the upcoming “Moment of Fate” Tempest Trials later this month seems like a safe bet.

Also, a new campaign has started on Twitter. You can support one of four fliers – Narcian, Est, Palla or Catria, and a 4-star version of the winner will be sent to all players. The campaign will run until September 11th. You can vote in Nintendo of Europe’s poll here or retweet the tweet featuring your favorite from the game’s Japanese Twitter account (Narcian, Est, Palla, Catria). The Nintendo of America Twitter account will put out a vote later today as well, and the results of all of those will be combined to determine the winner. Currently, Narcian is in the lead by a wide margin, so get cracking if you want to see any of the Whitewing sisters win!

Quest of Dungeons has been out on the Japanese Switch eShop for a month now, and it’ll soon make its way to western shores. Developer Upfall Studios has confirmed to Nintendo Life that the game would be released both on the North American and European eShop next week, on September 14th. It’ll cost $8.99 / €8.99 / £7.99, respectively.

Update: As some of you on Twitter have pointed out, you can also see Male Corrin in the bottom right. Thanks for the heads-up!

Original: The next playable character in Fire Emblem Warriors has been revealed via Famitsu, and it’s the final one of the royal siblings from Fire Emblem Fates, Sakura. Her main weapon is a bow, which she could use in Fates if she promoted into a Priestess.

We only have a small preview image of the Famitsu article at the moment, so there aren’t a whole lot of details. Stay tuned for tomorrow, which is when we’ll get our hands on the full issue of Famitsu.

The latest issue of Famitsu has announced a new rhythm game coming to Switch: Garu Metal. Combining elements of both music and adventure games, it’s described as “sci-fi, yet juveline” and features “hardcore metal” high school girls”.

Further details are sparse at the moment, but the staff involved in this are worth mentioning. The game’s scenario and supervision comes from Shuuhou Inai, who previously worked on the Tokyo Majin Gakuen series and Mato Kurenai Yuugekitai. The character design is being done by Toshinao Aoki, who has worked on some anime projects like the recent Kimi no Koe wa Todoketai and also did illustrations for some Pokemon TCG cards in the past. The game’s executive producer is the legendary Tak Fujii, who we haven’t heard a whole lot from ever since he left Konami in 2014.

The game will be on display at Tokyo Game Show this year, so expect further details then.

The official Twitter account for Splatoon has revealed that Splatoon 2’s next update, 1.3.0, will be available to download this Friday, September 8th, at 10 AM JST (meaning it’ll drop late at night in Europe and during the early evening in North America on the 7th). Any details on what exactly the update contains haven’t been revealed, though it’s a pretty safe bet that there will be some balance changes.

More:

The official Fire Emblem Heroes Twitter account has revealed all of the game’s upcoming events in September, and it’s looking like quite a packed schedule: (thanks to Serenes Forest for providing a translation)

The version update log-in bonus starting in three days means that, well, we’re due a version update pretty soon. Since we haven’t heard anything about until now, it’ll likely be a fairly minor one, but still. Also of note is the game’s first collaboration with Fire Emblem Warriors with special maps dropping on the 21st, one week before the game’s Japanese release on the 28th. Could the new heroes we’re getting on the 15th also be from Fire Emblem Warriors? It’s quite possible.

We are also getting not one, but two Tempest Trials this month, with the Tempest Trials Mini only lasting one week. Two new Bound Hero Battles are also coming, featuring Ephraim & Eirika from Sacred Stones and Ninian & Hawkeye from Blazing Blade. Finally, it doesn’t look we’re getting a new Grand Hero Battle at all this month, merely two reruns featuring Female Robin and Clarisse.
