Dragon Ball: The Breakers team was initially worried “fans might not want to play as comparatively weak characters like Bulma or Oolong”

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is doing something quite different for the franchise since it has you playing as “Survivors” like Bulma and Oolong or the “Raiders”, which include Cell, Frieza, and Kid Buu. Typically the Dragon Ball titles we’ve seen recap the series in an arena brawler or RPG format. The Breakers, however, is an asymmetrical action game where the Raiders try to hunt down the Survivors.
With such a different take on Dragon Ball games, it’s perhaps not a surprise that there was some uncertainty within the team initially. Producer Ryosuke Hara said in a recent interview that “the point was raised that fans might not want to play as comparatively weak characters like Bulma or Oolong.” In the end though, everyone “came around to liking the idea and gave us the go-ahead.”

Reggie talks about why Nintendo never used two GamePads with Wii U

Something Nintendo originally said would be possible with the Wii U was using two GamePads at a time. Unfortunately, that only ended up being an idea since we never actually saw it implemented with any type of game or experience.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has now offered insight as to why we never saw the use of dual GamePads. Speaking with MinnMax, he pointed to the fact that Wii U had a low install base and Nintendo was never able to move forward with a game that would justify such an experience.

With Xenoblade Chronicles 2, things were handled a bit differently. Nintendo distributed version 1.1 after launch and players then needed to download the free Japanese-Voice Pack DLC. They could then choose between English and Japanese voices in the settings.
