Golf With Your Friends announces “Bouncy Castle Course” / update

More content is coming to Golf With Your Friends in the form of the “Bouncy Castle Course”. Switch players can access the paid DLC starting on June 21, 2022, publisher Team17 and developer Blacklight Interactive have announced.
Once the DLC (and latest update) are obtained, players will be able to access a new Bouncy Castle themed course. Two new cosmetic packs are also planned. Also, the update will come with a bunch of improvements.

Pokemon Unite announces Delphox

Original (6/3): The team behind Pokemon Unite has revealed that Delphox is joining the game as a new playable character. The release date is set for June 8, 2022.
As for Delphox plays and what can be expected, specifics haven’t been shared just yet. We also don’t have a trailer showing the Pokemon in action, though that should change in the near future given that the release is just a few days away. We’ll update this post when the video comes in.

2D platformer The Wizard and The Slug arrives on Switch this week

A new 2D platformer is bound for Switch, as publisher Ratalaika Games and developer Meridian4 today announced that The Wizard and The Slug will be dropping later this week. The title’s launch is scheduled for June 10, 2022.

Publisher Untold Tales and developer Anshar Studios today unveiled a final release date for Gamedec, the cyberpunk noir detective RPG. The title will be available on July 1, 2022.
Gamedec is a single-player, non-combat detective thriller set in a dystopian cyberpunk Warsaw City. It was first announced for Switch in 2020.

UK sales for May 2022

Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for May 2022.
An interesting battle took place between a couple of Switch titles. Nintendo Switch Sports sold the most in terms of physical copies, but LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was number one overall. Remember that Nintendo does not report digital data.

Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue DX has secured a final release date on Switch. The roguelite indie firefighter will be available on June 22, publisher Thunderful and developer Dejima have announced. It was originally planned for last December, though the title was pushed back across all consoles.
For those that have been keeping up with the game, you may notice that the “DX” part of the title is new. That’s because Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue will launch on Switch as a new and improved version following its PC debut last year.

iOS 16 has support for Switch Joy-Con and Pro Controller

iOS 16 was unveiled at the Appleās Worldwide Developers Conference 2022 today, and it turns out that there’s actually some Switch-related news. It turns out that the OS actually has native support for the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and even the Joy-Con. That means these controllers can technically be used with any Apple device that supports iOS 16.
The news about the Switch functionality comes from Riley Testut, a developer that has worked on the emulator Delta. Not only can a single Joy-Con be supported, but both together as well. It’s even possible to dynamically switch between using the Joy-Cons individually or as one combined controller by holding the screenshot capture and home buttons for a few seconds.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild icons added to Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online members can now spend their My Nintendo points on icons based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The designs will be refreshed on a weekly basis. The first wave, available until June 13, features Link in various poses plus other characters, backgrounds, and frames. Each one costs 5 or 10 Platinum Points via My Nintendo, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership is required in order to redeem them.
