Cozy Grove Winter Festival

The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild and Spry Fox have announced a major update for Cozy Grove known as “Winter Festival”. Switch players can access it starting on December 23.

The update introduces new activities, craftable items, and minigames. Players can build and chat with snowfolk on their island, get into snowball fights with imps, and craft gifts to give to their bear buddies. That’s on top of new wintery decorations and outfits, a complete the pattern minigame, and festive background music.

Guts 'N Goals physical

PM Studios and CodeManu have announced that they’re teaming up with Limited Run Games on physical versions of Guts ‘N Goals for Switch.

Fans will be able to pick up a standard edition or limited edition. Both have stickers included, but the latter version includes a physical copy of the game with exclusive cover sheet, outer box, soundtrack CD, keychain, and a 38 page full-color artbook.

Pokemon GO January 2022 Community Day

We’ve got first details about the January 2022 Community Day for Pokemon GO, which puts the focus on Spheal. The event is planned for January 16 between 11 AM and 5 PM local time.

Spheal will be appearing more frequently in the wild while the Community Day is taking place. If you’re lucky enough, you could encounter a Shiny version. You can evolve Sealeo (Spheal’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward to receive a Walrein that knows the Charged Attack Icicle Spear and Fast Attack Powder Snow. Icicle Spear, appearing in Pokemon GO for the first time, is a low-energy Charged Attack that has 60 damage in both Trainer battles as well as Gyms and raids.

Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2022

Bandai Namco has announced Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2022, an online event broadcast worldwide featuring the latest news about manga, animation, video games, and action figures related to the franchise.

Several titles have already been confirmed for the show. The upcoming Switch title Dragon Ball: The Breakers will see the game producer playing and elaborating on the recently announced title. Other featured games include Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Dragon Ball Legends, Dragon Ball Super Card Game, Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, and Super Dragon Ball Heroes.

Gardener's Path

Publisher Ratalaika Games and developer Viridino Studiosare have announced that Gardener’s Path, “a top-down turn-based puzzle game about fighting giant insects and protecting underground gardens”, is reaching Switch this week. It will be available this Wednesday, December 22.

Build-A-Bear Glaceon

Build-A-Bear is expanding its Pokemon line once again with a new product, this time for the Ice-type creature Glaceon. It was just added to the company’s site today and consumers can order one for themselves now.

Glaceon comes with a 5-in-1 sound chip, cape, and sleeper. The Pokemon itself is described as “a blast of fresh air with its frosty blue fur, long tail and diamond-shaped ears.”

Lumote physical

Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is slated for an early 2022 release on Switch and a physical version is on the way, publisher Wired Productions and developer Luminawesome Games have confirmed.

The 3D puzzle platformer was announced for Switch earlier this year. However, it did not have a launch window at the time.
