Paradise Lost Switch

Publisher All In! Games and developer PolyAmourous have announced that they’re putting Paradise Lost, the post-apocalyptic alt-history narrative adventure, on Switch. The game will launch digitally on December 3.

Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue, which was just given a December release date on Switch at the start of October, has now been delayed. Thunderful Publishing and developer Dejima have confirmed that the roguelite indie firefighter is being moved back on all consoles, including Switch. It will now launch in 2022.

dead cells Queen & The Sea DLC

Motion Twin and Evil Empire today unveiled the next piece of DLC for Dead Cells, titled The Queen & The Sea.

The upcoming content promises an ending to the route that the two previous DLCs started with The Bad Seed and Fatal Falls. It’s been teased that The Queen & The Sea “will offer the most generous content update yet” for the game. Players can look forward to a pair of new biomes, and “one won’t be the standard-issue Dead Cells level that you’re used to.” Those that make it through the challenge and defeat the Queen (an alternative final boss) will be able to check out a new ending.

Limited Run Games has revealed a new physical release for Crysis 3 Remastered on Switch.

The company is planning both a standard version and a Deluxe Edition, the latter of which includes an art card. Pre-orders begin on December 7 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe. Reservations will be available for six weeks here.

switch update 13.2.0

The latest Switch system update, version 13.2.0, is now available.

Note that there is no new functionality this time around. Nintendo’s patch notes simply state: “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.” Specifics regarding these improvements were not provided.

At the end of April, Mediatonic delayed the Switch version of Fall Guys to an unspecified date. Some had hoped that we’d be seeing it land on the console along with Season 6, but unfortunately, that won’t be happening. 

Mediatonic confirmed today that it will have more information to share in 2022 about the Switch version of Fall Guys. That means the delay will indeed stretch beyond this year. Mediatonic said that the Switch version is “one of our top priorities in active development”.

GTA Trilogy Switch physical

The physical version of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been delayed, Rockstar Games has announced. Copies on Switch will not be available until early 2022.

GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition previously arrived on the Switch eShop earlier this month. It includes redone versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Previously, the physical version was planned for December 7.
