LEGO Super Mario Bowser Jr.'s Clown Car

It’s been revealed that three new Expansion Sets are joining the LEGO Super Mario line – specifically Bowser Jr.’s Clown Car Expansion Set, Dorrie’s Beachfront Expansion Set, Big Urchin Beach Ride Expansion Set, and the fourth series of Character Packs.

Little is actually known at this time since Nintendo only delivered the news in a simple tweet without any further information. There’s also not much coming from LEGO itself either. However, with the photos released thus far, the Expansion Sets are all pretty self-explanatory.

Fast & Furious Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R trailer

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R, a new Switch title from publisher Outright Games and developer 3D Clouds, has been given a new trailer. The video comes as a way of promoting the game’s recent launch.

Target has posted its ad for the coming week, revealing that a new buy 2, get 1 free sale is planned involving video games, books, movies, board games, activity sets, and puzzles. This comes ahead of the big holiday shopping season with Black Friday planned for later in the month.

Switch will indeed be a part of the sale. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Active Life: Outdoor Challenge, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, and LOL Surprise! Remix: We Rule The World are among the titles pictured. And while it’s not specifically shown for the Switch version, it also looks like Sonic Colors: Ultimate will be included. There will naturally be many more games beyond this.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD on Switch has already managed to outsell the original game on Wii, the latest data from Nintendo confirms.

Through the end of September, Skyward Sword HD sold 3.6 million copies. As for the Wii title, Nintendo had confirmed that it sold 3.52 million units.

For its latest Shin Megami Tensei V demon trailer, Atlus is showing off Mara. This creature has had many appearances across the franchise going back to the original Shin Megami Tensei.

A new comparison video has come in for the Switch version of World War Z, putting it up against the PS4 release. Another outlet such as Digital Foundry may publish a more in-depth technical analysis later on, but YouTuber ElAnalistaDeBits has shared some early findings. It looks like Saber has done an admirable job, though changes and cuts were made on Switch.

As far as resolution is concerned, you’re getting 720p in both docked and portable modes from the Switch version of World War Z. ElAnalistaDeBits notes that there’s heavy temporal anti-aliasing when playing on a television. Frame rate comes in at 30 FPS.

Joojee's Journey

Publisher DigiPen Game Studios (DGS) and developer Digital Innovative Design & Technology Center (DIDTC) have announced that Joojee’s Journey, a side-scrolling platformer, is soon releasing on Switch. The game will be ready to go on November 11.

Joojee’s Journey is the second collaboration between DGS and DIDTC following Bloody Bunny: The First Blood. It’s based on the webcomic series Joojee and Friends from Thai artist and illustrator Napussaya Navalong, also known as Mindmelody.

OU delayed

Following its announcement this past summer, G-Mode and room6 have delayed OU to 2022. It was originally planned for this year.

OU will be appearing on Switch and other platforms upon release. A more specific date has not been shared at this time.

A Boy and His Blob trailer

To celebrate the game’s Switch release, publisher Ziggurat Interactive and developer WayForward have shared a launch trailer for A Boy and His Blob. The title ended up on Nintendo’s current console after originally appearing on Wii many years ago.
