Shantae: Risky's Revenge

Update (1/9): The good news continues, as we’re now hearing reports that almost all of the games that were recently said to have been deactivated are now restored. The primary releases still missing in action include 5 in 1 Solitaire, Digger Dan & Kaboom, Face Pilot: Fly With Your Nintendo DSi Camera!, Match Up!, and Word Searcher 3. In other words, pretty much all of the big games are back.

Original (1/8): A few days ago, it was discovered that a ton of different DSi games were pulled from the 3DS eShop. For whatever reason, they simply couldn’t be purchased any longer, and Nintendo hadn’t commented on the situation.

We’re still unsure what took place, but we can now say that some of these delisted titles have returned – including Shantae: Risky’s Revenge. You can now purchase the following games once again:

A new soundtrack for Fire Emblem: Three Houses was announced a little while back. Play-Asia is now taking pre-orders here.

As a reminder, there will be a regular version for $73. You can also pick up a limited edition for $104, which comes with a music box and four poster cards. Both editions also feature six discs, a bonus DVD, clear case, Sothis and Rhea jacket, and a twenty page booklet.

Here’s the product description from Play-Asia:

Among Us

Among Us wasn’t always the breakout game fans know of today. In an interview shared by Nintendo, Innersloth co-founder Forest Willard discussed the title’s origins.

Among Us went through quite a few changes during development. Willard said that players “would draw a role card and roam around a house aimlessly while ‘the mafia’ person secretly ‘killed’ players by drawing a finger across someone’s neck. The tasks also “changed several times” and the ship was initially “always in crisis while the crewmates attempted to hold it together and Impostors could do tasks wrong to hinder players.”

The same interview also touched on how long it took to create Among Us. Since the game was “originally so much smaller,” the team wrapped up development in about seven months.
