Kemco and Exe Create are teaming up to release Spirit Valor on Nintendo Switch, the two sides have announced. The title is slated for April 4, 2025.

Spirit Valor is a spirit-collecting RPG. By making contracts with spirits, players can earn new magical abilities that will help them on their journey.

Atelier Yumia sales

Koei Tecmo and Gust revealed a milestone for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land having announced that the game has surpassed 300,000 copies sold worldwide. That’s based on the worldwide performance across all platforms.

Koe Tecmo also said that Atelier Yumia is now the fastest-selling entry in the series.

Out of Sight

Out of Sight will be made available on Nintendo Switch, publisher Starbreeze and developer The Gang confirmed today. It’s scheduled to launch on May 22, 2025.

Out of Sight is an atmospheric horror game. It features both first and second-person perspectives.

Dunk Dunk release date

Publisher Playtonic Friends and developer Badgerhammer shared an update on Dunk Dunk today, revealing the final release date. It’ll be out for Nintendo Switch on May 8, 2025.

Dunk Dunk was originally confirmed for Nintendo Switch about a year ago. However, it was eventually delayed and Playtonic picked it up for publishing.

Cassette Beasts 1.8 Sunshine update

Announced today for Cassette Beasts is that the game will be getting a new version 1.8 update. Players can access the latest drop on April 7, 2025.

The highlight here is that Sunny will become a companion character featuring a storyline, a few new monsters, the ability to record wing skins, and a new paid cosmetic DLC that add additional wing skins. Those that have finished the main story will be able to access Sunny’s quest.

Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games

Nintendo has made official mention of something called “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games”.

As part of today’s Nintendo Direct, this new feature was announced. The functionality will be coming to Nintendo Switch in late April as well as Switch 2 when that’s available. The announcement was noteworthy in its own right, but now the newly-launched hub for Virtual Game Cards page has mentioned “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games”.

Isle of Reveries

Today, Desertcucco shared the news that it’s making Isle of Reveries for Nintendo Switch. No release window was provided.

Isle of Reveries is an upcoming Zelda-like that was recently funded on Kickstarter at over $30,000 and more than 800 backers. There are dungeons to explore, puzzles to solve, and enemies to battle.
