Super Smash Bros. Ultimate recently received new DLC based on Minecraft. In the latest issue of Famitsu, director Masahiro Sakurai opened up a bit more about the development of Steve / Alex.

Update (10/28): The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity thumbnail has been updated on the Switch eShop in France. The text shows “demo available”, so it should be releasing pretty soon.
Original (10/27): Rumor has it that a demo will soon be announced for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. A new trailer is also expected.
The rumor stems from Nintendo Korea’s official website, which apparently had the news up for just a short while. The page mentioned that the demo will let players experience the beginning of the game. Additionally, progress can be transferred to the full version.
8-Bit Farm heading to Switch this week

Ponpu delayed to December

Ponpu is seeing a month-long delay. After it was originally announced for November 5, it will now arrive in early December. Zordix did not provide a reason for the delay.

Hamster has announced the next Arcade Archives games for Switch. 64th Street: A Detective Story will launch worldwide on October 29, the company has announced.
64th Street: A Detective Story, which released in 1991, was made by C.P. Brain and published by Jalico. It features beat ’em up gameplay.
Arcade Archives 64th Street: A Detective Story will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Ninjala surpasses five million downloads worldwide

GungHo Online Entertainment has announced the latest milestone for its free-to-play Switch game Ninjala. Since launch, the title has seen over five million downloads worldwide, the company announced today.
GungHo is handing out a free gift to all players. Those that log in before January 7, 2021 can obtain 100 Jala.
Ninjala is out now for Switch via the eShop.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit update out now (version 1.0.1)

Nintendo has issued an update for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. Version 1.0.1 has started distribution, which adjusts the kart camera settings so that the game can be more easily played indoors with strong light.
Nintendo says that after installing the patch, the kart itself will be updated when its connected to the game.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is available now on Switch.
Super Mario Bros. 35 – new Special Battle event announced, kicks off on October 30

The next Special Battle event will go live in Super Mario Bros. 35 on October 30, Nintendo has announced. It will last until November 2.
In celebration of Halloween, Nintendo is going with a special theme of sorts. Players will begin with 100 coins and stages picked are at “night”. Nintendo has set the order of stages to 1-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 4-2, 6-1, 6-2, and 6-3.

Nintendo has announced the latest tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time around, the theme is reflection, which means that projectiles will bounce off the fighters participating in a match.
The new tournament goes live on October 30. Like previous events, it will last for a total of three days.
