Skater XL delayed

Skater XL won’t be meeting its originally July 28 release date. The game has been delayed on all platforms, though the Switch version doesn’t have a new date currently.

Super Mario Party studio NDcube confirmed as dev for Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics

When Nintendo announced Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics back in March, there was some speculation that Super Mario Party developer NDcube was working on the project. However, Nintendo never actually confirmed that information. But now that the game is out and we’re able to see the credits, we can officially say that NDcube is primarily behind the new Switch release.
For one thing, the company is very clearly listed towards the end of the credits. Additionally, many of the key developers from Super Mario Party returned for Clubhouse Games.
We have a look at the top staff positions listed in the credits below. You’ll notice that most employees carried over similar roles from Super Mario Party.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition had series’ second-highest debut in Japan

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is off to a pretty good start in Japan. As reported by Famitsu a couple of days ago, the game sold about 91,000 units in its first week. That actually makes it the series’ second-highest debut to date.

The twin-stick shooter Pew Paw will appear on Switch next week, Drageus Games has announced. It will be distributed via the eShop on June 12.

3D action-adventure game Effie coming to Switch

Inverge Studios’ 3D action-adventure game Effie is coming to Switch, the developer revealed today. The studio is teaming up with Klabater to make the port possible.

Indie Live Expo II announced for November 7

The first ever Indie Live Expo was held earlier today. It featured tons of news about upcoming games, messages from developers, and more.
It looks like this presentation won’t just be a one-time thing. At the end of today’s event, a logo appeared for Indie Live Expo II. We know that the next broadcast will be held on November 7, but nothing beyond that.
Today’s Indie Live Expo included a number of announcements for Switch, including the reveal of COGEN: Sword of Rewind.

Gemdrops has announced COGEN: Sword of Rewind, a side-scrolling action-platformer. As given away by the title, one of the main mechanics involves the ability to rewind time.
We don’t have a whole lot of information about COGEN: Sword of Rewind so far, but Gemdrops did share a trailer today. We’ve included that new video below.
