Japanese videogame company, Happinet, is pleased to announce that Brigandine will make its return after 20 years with Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia exclusively on Nintendo Switch™ system. Scheduled for a Spring 2020 release worldwide, the turn-based strategy series set in a familiar fantasy world is brought to life by renowned talent including scenario writer, Kenji Terada (Batman: Dark Tomorrow, FINAL FANTASY I – III), art director and character designer, Raita Kazama (Puzzle & Dragons, Xenoblade Chronicles), and the homecoming of composer Tenpei Sato (Brigandine: Grand Edition, Disgaea 1 -5).

In Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia, six countries in the Continent of Runersia have waged a war to conquer and unify the land under one nation. Players decide how their legend will unfold by selecting a country and creating their army of Rune Knights, exploring over 40 base locations and encountering over 100 unique knights and 50 types of monsters as they progress across Runersia.


Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection will be available exclusively for Nintendo Switch on December 6, 2019. Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection includes Assassin’s Creed® IV: Black Flag with all single-player DLCs and Assassin’s Creed Rogue. From becoming the most feared pirate in the Caribbean to transforming into the ultimate assassin hunter, players will have the opportunity to discover or rediscover two major opuses from the Assassin’s Creed series fully playable offline and on-the-go with Nintendo Switch.

This exclusive compilation takes full advantage of the capabilities of the Nintendo Switch, including enhanced features such as Handheld Mode, HD Rumble, Touchscreen Interface, Optimized HUD, and Motion Control Aiming.

Three classic Dragon Quest games are coming to Switch – at least in Japan. Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest I, II, and II will be released on September 27.

Dragon Quest I will cost 600 yen. Dragon Quest II and III are priced at 850 yen and 1,500 yen respectively.
