Fire Emblem Heroes

Destructoid was recently about to speak with the co-directors of Fire Emblem Heroes. One of the more interesting comments came about when Shingo Matsushita was asked about what’s next for the mobile game.

In response, Matsushita said that the team is “discussing different ideas that will give even long-term players a fresh playing experience.” He raddled off some different ideas, such as the possibility of “a new mode that will introduce a social aspect to the game.”

Niantic has announced its latest event for Pokemon GO. Battle Showdown just went live, in which Fighting-type Pokemon such as Mankey, Machop, Makuhita, and Meditite will appear more frequently in the wild. You may also encounter Shiny Mankey and Shiny Machop if you’re lucky.

A little while ago, we heard that Turok – a classic shooter from the N64 era – is coming to Switch. It’s just a couple of weeks away with its launch scheduled for March 18.

Nightdive Studios is behind the re-release of Turok. The company also brought Turok 2 to newer platforms. With that in mind, fans are already wondering if Turok 2 will eventually head to Switch as well.


Chucklefish has announced that a new update for Wargroove will be issued tomorrow. With version 1.2.0, various quality of life improvements will be implemented.

Shakedown Hawaii

Vblank Entertainment has confirmed that Shakedown: Hawaii has entered final beta. That means once this latest round of testing is complete, it’ll be submitted to certification for Nintendo’s review. Once approved, a final release date will be announced.
