R-Type Final 2 in the works, targeted for Switch, Kickstarter opens next week

Granzella recently announced R-Type Final 2, a follow-up to Irem’s horizontal shooter that originally released on the PlayStation 2 back in 2003. Switch wasn’t originally a part of the plan, but about fielding feedback from fans, the new R-Type will now be included as a target platform.
A Kickstarter campaign will open on June 3 to help fully realize the game. For now, find the first details and trailer for R-Type Final 2 below.

XSEED Games announced today that Gal Metal will be receiving its next batch of DLC next week. Bonus Tracks Vol. 2 goes live on June 6, the company has confirmed.
The latest songs include Ready Set Türkiye, Into the 4D!, WoO! WoW! WoO!, Spring Strings, and Apocalypse of Blood and Virtue. Players will be able to access the full set for free as an extra download.

Following its announcement from a previous Nintendo Direct, Dead by Daylight has been dated for Switch. The game will launch on September 24, Behaviour Interactive announced today.
Dead by Daylight will be sold in stores and on the eShop. Nine killers and ten survivors, along with three cosmetic packs. Pre-orders will open at retailers soon.
