Nintendo has shared another piece of Super Mario Odyssey concept art through social media. Above, we have the latest image showing Pauline (or Mayor Pauline).

The art shows off Pauline’s final design in the game. Nintendo’s goal was to highlight what Pauline would look like today and maintain the past essence of the character at the same time.

Usually most of the major news about figures comes out of Wonder Festival, but we do have a few updates from WonHobby Gallery 2018 Autumn. The event took place in Akihabara, Tokyo this weekend where fans were treated to looks at upcoming Nintendo products and more.

The Layton Nendoroid was previously announced, but only in a picture concept form. Now we’re able to see what it looks like in-person, albeit without color. Also shown was the Nendoroid Beam Kirby as well as Kotobukiya-made Pokemon figures for Ethan and Leaf.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

The Legend of Zelda: Concert 2018 kicked off in Japan this week. Normally you wouldn’t expect any sort of major news from that type of event, but something noteworthy did in fact happen.

Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma reportedly appeared at the concert this weekend. Based on messages from fans who attended and posted on social media, Aonuma said: “We know what you are thinking, Skyward Sword on Switch, right?” That prompted the audience to clap and cheer.

Nintendo has been bringing the 3D Zelda games to new systems one by one, so a new release of Skyward Sword would make sense. Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask hit 3DS while Wind Waker and Twilight Princess landed on Wii U. Could Skyward Sword on Switch be next?

Many games are on sale for Black Friday and the holidays, including ones from Natsume. The publisher has discounted all of its titles on the eShops. Most are on 3DS, but we also get a hefty discount on Wild Guns Reloaded for Switch and a few Wii U releases.
