My Nintendo adds Super Mario Party wallpaper in Europe

Super Mario Party is now available around the world on Switch. To celebrate, My Nintendo has added in a new wallpaper for European members. It can be redeemed here.
The wallpaper costs 50 Platinum Points. It can be used with PCs, smartphones, and tablets.

A look at Super Mario Party’s inner boxart

Nintendo often does a bit more with its Switch boxarts than most. Whereas some games have absolutely nothing inside, the Big N tends to make things a bit more exciting.
The latest example of this is Super Mario Party, pictured above. We’re able to see a screenshot of the gang together along with a little ribbon in the corner.

Mega Man 11 used a Star Force model as a placeholder during development

When Mega Man 11 had its first blowout in Game Informer’s January 2018 issue, fans noticed what looked to be a Mega Man Star Force costume. Now that the game is out, we can say that nothing of the sort was included. Capcom has explained why.
In the Japanese Rockman 11 Production Note book, Capcom states that the costume was actually as a placeholder for Tundra Storm. The blurb notes:

Octoling amiibo up for pre-order on the Nintendo UK store

The Nintendo UK store has opened pre-orders for the upcoming Octoling amiibo for Splatoon. Consumers can reserve the package here. It’ll come with the Octoling Boy, Octoling Girl, and Octopus.

Pre-orders will remain open for 30 days. Buyers will receive the soundtrack, an 18 x 24 poster, and reversible cover art.
Trine 3 seemingly coming to Switch

Trine 3 has never made it to a Nintendo platform. That could be changing soon though, as the game has been rated for Switch over in Germany.
Ratings aren’t always indicative of confirmed releases. However, they often point to future plans, so developer Frozenbyte likely has something planned.
