Oh My Godheads: Party Edition

Next Tuesday, Square Enix is bringing Oh My Godheads: Party Edition to the Switch eShop. Take a look at some footage below.

HORI has released its d-pad controller for Switch outside of Japan. But one of the things we’ve heard is that when using the product, battery drain was an issue.

Apparently, this has been addressed. HORI says that after applying the new firmware update for Switch – version 6.0.0 – users will not encounter any problems with battery draining. It should be safe to use the new d-pad controller going forward.

Niantic has announced that Deoxys will begin to appear in EX Raid Battles with the next cycle of EX Raid invitations. Players will be able to take on the Mythical Pokemon’s Normal Forme.

Niantic says that Pokemon GO will now allow you to invite one friend to go with you when an EX Raid Pass is received. Invites can only be sent to an Ultra Friend or Best Friend.

NIS America is introducing two more games for the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection: Street Smart and Prehistoric Isle. In addition to a new trailer, we have a couple of overviews for both titles below.

As was previously thought thanks to a Japanese eShop listing, Arena of Valor is coming to Switch next week. A release is set for September 25.

Pinball FX3

When Nintendo Switch Online started yesterday, many games required a membership in order to play online and access certain elements through the internet. Pinball FX3 ended up being one of them, but not intentionally.

Right now Pinball FX3 requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in order to participate in tournaments and other online features. However, developer Zen Studios says an update has been submitted “which will mean no online subscription is needed for any Pinball FX3 feature.”
