Darkest Dungeon - The Color of Madness

Red Hook Studios issued a trailer for The Color of Madness, the newest DLC for Darkest Dungeon. It’ll be debuting on PC, Mac, and Linux first, followed by consoles – including Switch. We have the trailer below.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

8-4 has worked with Nintendo in the past on the localization of Fire Emblem games. The partnership first came about for Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, followed by Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

This week, Nintendo gave us a first look at its new Switch Fire Emblem title, Fire Emblem: Three Houses. 8-4 confirmed shortly after however that the company is not involved. That would seem to indicate that Nintendo is handling its localization internally for this particular game.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was featured at E3 this week. Folks were able to go hands-on with the Switch version, and the new Future Tense level was shown off.

One interesting point concerns loading times. After Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy originally came out on PlayStation 4, Vicarious Visions looked at the feedback, and has addressed this on Switch. Fans can expect loading time improvements across the various levels.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is just a couple of weeks away from reaching Switch. When it does release, Prima will have an official guide ready to go.

Nintendo NY discovered a concerning email today sent to the store concerning a bomb threat. Workers came across the message, which was actually delivered in April, after cleaning out the inbox.

Twitch streamer Mitsu first reported the news, who says the threat was made due to “displeasure over the Super Smash Bros. kiosks being removed from the store.” NY Daily News also confirmed the situation with an NYPD spokeswoman.

The police are currently investigating. But NY Daily News add that “since nothing has exploded over the last two months, it’s not believed the gamer will make good on his threat, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the case said.”

Fortnite

Some sort of countdown is currently taking place in Fortnite. It was found specifically in the Switch version, and may only be taking place in that version of the game. However, it doesn’t necessarily confirm Switch-only content is coming.

In celebration of International Sushi Day as well as to promote Sushi Striker, Nintendo NY held a special event for the game today. We have a few photos from Nintendo below, along with their descriptions.

Bill Trinen isn’t the only person Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime battled in Mario Tennis Aces at E3 this week. He also played the game with Geoff Keighley, known for his work on The Game Awards, E3 Colosseum, and more. Watch the two face off in the video below.

Neverout

Neverout, a puzzle game, originally released on VR devices a couple of years ago. Gamedust has since created an alternative version for Switch.

In Neverout, players are placed in a small, claustrophobic cube, that has only one way out. Obstacles such as electric fields and spiked pits will get in your way.

Flying Tiger Entertainment released Wizard Fire, the latest arcade game for Switch, on the eShop this week. Take a look at some footage below.
