Tencent has announced that Arena of Valor’s closed beta on Switch will be held a week from today. The event is set for June 28 in both North America and Europe. Despite it being so close, it seems that you can still register here.

The beta will allow Switch players to experience 5v5 competitive action. When the servers are live, there will be unlimited play for the duration of the event.

Mario Tennis Aces

If you plan on picking up Mario Tennis Aces tomorrow, you should be aware that the game has a day-one update. Downloading the patch unlocks the game’s tournament mode.

Tournament mode will be split into online and offline matches. Along with the Standard Class (standard rules / powers), Simple Class (without the energy meter) is available.

Those who pick up the physical version of Mario Tennis Aces may see that a message on the box about a required 2GB download. Eurogamer says that its digital version with the patch comes in at 1.9GB.

Shikhondo - Soul Eater

Digerati has announced Shikhondo – Soul Eater for Switch. The bullet-hell shoot ’em up is coming to Switch this summer.

DeerFarm created Shikhondo – Soul Eater, which “features hypnotic barrage patterns, enemies inspired by Asian mythology, and stunning Oriental artwork.” Two-player local co-op is included.

Last week, Torna – The Golden Country was announced as the big story expansion for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Monolith Soft executive director Tetsuya Takahashi has since shared more on the new content and how it came to be.

Takahashi reveals that Torna – The Golden Country was included with the team’s original prototype for the main game – or “one of the potential story candidates”. However, it was determined that the Torna content “would divert a major portion of the budget and development time we had allotted for Xenoblade Chronicles 2.” The concept was abandoned, but Takahashi still had it on his PC, and it was brought back in the form of the expansion / DLC.

The team at Minecraft has partnered with Disney and Pixar on a special Skin Pack based on The Incredibles. It’s out now on Switch and 3DS.

42 character skins are included with the DLC. You can play Minecraft as Mr Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet, and more. The source link below has a look at the various designs.

Super Baby Vegeta was recently announced as a new DLC character in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Today, Bandai Namco confirmed that the character will be out this summer as part of Extra Pack 3.
