The Smash Bros. Blog has updated with its latest entry for Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time around, the Sukapon Assist Trophy gets the focus.

Here’s an introduction:

Super Bomberman R received a major update last night. Among other things, several new characters were added, including Solid Snake / Naked Snake plus Xavier Woods of WWE fame. We have some footage below.

Pokemon Quest

Pokemon Quest was previously made available on Switch, though we knew that a mobile version was on the way as well. That version of the game has since launch.

You can find Pokemon Quest on iOS here. The Android version is here. Just like the Switch version, the game is free-to-play.

Cat Quest II

The GentleBros has shared the first trailer for Cat Quest II, which we have below. A Switch version is currently planned.

Cat Quest II features a story of two kingdoms at war, and the heroes that must rise to save it. The action RPG will let you play as a cat and a dog, solo or with a friend. A release is planned for early 2019.

Neko Tomo

This week’s issue of Famitsu has announced Neko Tomo, a sequel to the 3DS title Kuma Tomo. Nintendo published the last entry in the series as Teddy Together.

Kuma Tomo is in the works for both Switch and 3DS. Here’s what we know:

Defoliation

This week’s Famitsu review scores are as follows:

Zanki Zero (PS4/PSV) – 9/9/8/8
Seven Days: Anata to Sugosu Nanokakan (PSV) – 8/8/7/7
Animal Force (PS4) – 7/8/8/7
Soccer On Desk (NSW) – 7/6/7/7
Defoliation (NSW) – 6/7/7/6

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are introducing a new Legendary Hero for Fire Emblem Heroes. Later this week, Hector: Marquess of Ostia will be added. Other heroes will also appear.

Here’s a trailer:

Hector: Marquess of Ostia arrives on June 28.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Smash Bros. Ultimate is going to have a ton of stages. At this point, evidence point to there being close to 100. The current count is at 84 or so.

With the amount of stages in the game, some had speculated that Smash Bros. Ultimate would possibly be bringing back all previous ones. As it turns out, however, that apparently isn’t the case.

At E3 a couple of weeks ago, Japanese magazine Famitsu participated in a press event with Nintendo’s Bill Trinen and Nate Bihldorff. One point brought up during a Q&A session is that not every stage will be returning. Unless we hear otherwise from someone else at Nintendo or director Masahiro Sakurai, that’s where thing stands. Yet with the amount of characters and stages that we know about, it’s hard to feel disappointed.

A major update has gone live for Super Bomberman R on Switch. Konami has added in several new characters, including Solid Snake and Naked Snake. Best of all? They’re voiced by original actor David Hayter.

There are other elements to today’s update as well. Grand Prix has a new “Checkpoints” rule, a trio of Metal Gear stages have been added for this option, and more.
