Mega Man 11 details

Yesterday’s Mega Man 30th anniversary celebration was jam-packed with news about the series. It was topped off by the reveal of Mega Man 11, a new entry that fans have long been waiting for.

Game Informer managed to go hands-on with the title and shared a bunch of information in its latest issue. We’ve rounded up some of the more important points below.

Original (12/4): The official art book for Mutant Mudds is now available for purchase. Amazon has it in stock here.

The Mutant Mudds: Official Art and Design Works “dives deep into the creative side of the Mutant Mudds series for videogame enthusiasts to share in how each visual element of the games were pieced together.” It includes sprite sheets, level art, UI, cutscenes, and more. Mutant Mudds’ game director, designer, and artist Jools Watsham also provides written descriptions and anecdotes.

Tiny Troopers Joint Ops XL is another Switch game that we should be able to look forward to this month. Nintendo’s website as well as the European Switch eShop indicate a December 21 launch.

Tiny Troopers Joint Ops XL is an arcade shooter in which you control tiny troopers and battle enemies from around the world with various weapons. Additional information and a trailer are included below.

WayForward released the first trailer for the Friends to the End expansion lined up for Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.

Poly Bridge’s release date on Switch appears to be set. All signs are currently pointing to a December 14 launch.

Over on the European Switch eShop, Poly Bridge is listed for that very day. Nintendo’s website also has the game down for December 14.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was a monumental game for a number of reasons. Perhaps most significantly, Nintendo allowed Ubisoft to use the Mario IP and its various characters.

Leading the way on the project was creative director Davide Soliani. Throughout development, Soliani and the rest of the team needed to work and collaborate with Nintendo to make sure everything was just right.

Lienzo has published the second behind the scenes video series for the upcoming Switch game Mulaka. Check out the second chapter below covering creatures that make up the mythology of northern Mexico’s indigenous Tarahumara people.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 director Tetsuya Takahashi has shared a bunch of information about the game’s development and various elements. In a piece published on the Nintendo UK website, Takahashi goes in-depth on the story, world navigation, and Rare Blades.
