God Wars: The Complete Legends coming west this fall

God Wars: Great War of Japanese Mythology was recently announced for Switch in Japan. It’s now confirmed for a western release, courtesy of NIS America.
Kadokawa’s tactical RPG will release for Switch in the west under the name “God Wars: The Complete Legends”. It’s slated for North America and Europe this fall. For more information and the overseas announcement trailer, continue on below.
Fire Emblem Heroes earned almost $300 million in its first year, doing better than Mario Run and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

As Fire Emblem Heroes celebrates its first anniversary, Sensor Tower is taking a look back at how the game has done over the past year.
Sensor Tower report that Fire Emblem Heroes has earned an estimated $295 million worldwide in player spending, making it Nintendo’s most successful mobile game thus far. It has generated significantly more than Super Mario Run, though that game was a one-time purchase.
Rocket League adds DC Super Heroes DLC Pack in March

New DC Comics DLC is being added to Rocket League next month, Psyonix has announced. The DC Super Heroes DLC Pack will include the ’89 Batmobile as well as the The Dark Knight Rises Tumbler.
Of course, other DLC is included as well. Here’s the full lineup of customization items:
– Aquaman — Decal (Breakout), and Player Banner
– Batman — Decal (Paladin), and Player Banner
– Cyborg — Decal (Roadhog), and Player Banner
– Flash — Speed Force Boost, Wheels, Decal (Venom), and Player Banner
– Green Arrow — Decal (Hotshot), and Player Banner
– Green Lantern — Decal (Merc), and Player Banner
– Superman — Decal (Octane), and Player Banner
– Wonder Woman — Wheels, Decal (X-Devil), and Player Banner
– DC Comics — Player Banner

SNES Classic Edition up again on GameStop

GameStop has once again restocked the Super NES Classic Edition. If you’d like to place an order, do so here. GameStop is one of the few retailers with regular restocks of the SNES Classic, so hopefully those who are looking for a unit will be able to secure one.

Update 2 (2/20): Updated the maintenance schedule again, Nintendo Game Store purchases added.
Update: Bumped to the top. Two more periods have been added in for Switch (one also includes 3DS) as well as Minecraft on Switch.
Original (2/19): As was the case last week, Switch will be undergoing maintenance in a few days. The system’s online services may be impacted for a few hours on February 21 / February 22.

Doom version 1.1.1 patch notes

Last night, Bethesda and Panic Button dropped a new patch for Doom on Switch. Version 1.1.1 was notable for several reasons, including the addition of motion aiming.

Super Rare Games on bringing physical releases to Switch

Earlier today, we heard that Human: Fall Flat is getting a physical version. It’s the very first release from Super Rare Games. GamesIndustry spoke with George Perkins to learn more about the company.
Each of Super Rare Games’ releases will consist of 5,000 copies. Additionally, the plan is to maintain a price point of $34.99 / £29.99 for all titles, meaning there won’t be a price increase.

Owlboy up for pre-order on various European Amazon sites

A number of Amazon’s European websites have started taking pre-orders for Owlboy. You can reserve the game on Amazon UK, Amazon Germany, Amazon France, and Amazon Spain.
Owlboy launches physically for Switch on May 29. SOEDESCO will handle publishing.

Super Rare Games reveals physical version of Human: Fall Flat

Human: Fall Flat is getting a physical release on Switch, courtesy of Super Rare Games. A couple of different options are available on the company’s website, including the standard game (which also includes a Trading Card booster pack and SRG sticker) as well as a Deluxe Edition with the game’s vinyl album. Only 5,000 copies will be sold worldwide.
Pricing is set at $34.99 / €29.99 / £29.99. However, it seems there’s a heavy shipping charge (£9.99, about $14).
